Happy Thanksgiving from

It is the 2023 Deer Gun Season. It is always a time for me to pause and reflect on the previous year. Some of it was amazing and some of it was a challenge, but I am still in awe of God’s many blessings. I will be closed Saturday, Nov 11th and Sunday, Nov 12th to spend some time with family and friends at deer camp. I will be checking texts and voicemails. I am accepting deer by appointment only, so please contact me to schedule a time.

Good luck to all the youth hunters out there this weekend. The first 10 youth season deer mounts will receive priority. They will be finished for Santa Claus to deliver for Christmas. I will be open Saturday from 9am-4pm and Sunday from 10am-6pm. Take time to reflect with your kids on the great outdoors and God’s magnificent creation. This customer called for a quote on a bobcat mount. In the conversation I asked if he had one trapped or in the freezer. He said he had one on a game camera and will set a trap tomorrow. Well- All I have to say is he’s a good trapper.

2022 Deer Gun Season is here. Another year has passed us, but hopefully you can pause to enjoy the outdoors, relax, and reflect on God’s great creation during this deer season. It is my goal to provide a quality deer mount in a reasonable time frame. In order to do that I will be limiting the number of mounts I accept this season. I will be closed Saturday, Nov 12th and Sunday, Nov 13th to spend some time with family and friends at deer camp. I will be checking texts and voicemails. Have a safe and successful hunting season. With the hunting season just around the corner I would like to update everyone on a new path for CAS Taxidermy Studio. As many of you know I’m very passionate about Taxidermy. God has blessed my business beyond measure. I have more work than I can turn around in a year and that’s not where I would like to be. To make sure I can provide my customers with reasonable turnaround times I will only be able to accepting a limited number of customers this hunting season. I am humbled to bring home some very prestigious awards from Missouri Taxidermist Association this past weekend. I want say thanks to the MTA members for allowing me to be able to take my Taxidermy career to the next level. I would not be where I’m at with out mentors in the association. I received the Best of Category Professional Division Whitetail, Whitetails Unlimited Best in Professional, and The Taxidermist Choice Award Professional Division.

Thanks for a fantastic 2021 deer season. After Saturday, November 20 I will only be accepting shoulder mounts from current customers. I have limited the number of shoulder mounts this year to provide a quality service with a reasonable turnaround time. I will continue to accept European mounts from new and current customers at this time. I appreciate all my great customers. Thank you for allowing me to do a job I love.
