As many of you know, I kept 2 puppies back from Lana’s first litter, Sacco and Ashi. I made the decision at their 1 year birthday in December to sell Ashi. I was so excited when I found the absolute perfect people for her. This dog is going to have the most amazing life and adventures with Banger Overland and Outdoors! Hello Texas K9 University Family! We hope that your 2024 has been amazing so far.

First, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for voting us 2023's Best Pet Boarding Facility and Best Dog Training Facility in Parker County!

Secondly, We are excited to share that we are launching a brand new customer portal called Gingr. This is a platform where you can log in and request bookings, manage your account, view report cards and more! Most of you will receive an email next week that includes a quick tutorial video that outlines the basics of using the new portal. There is a free mobile app as well! Of course you will still be able to connect with Josey if necessary, or if you would rather interact with her.

Our goal is to enhance your booking and communication experience with us.

What an awesome surprise! We were named “Best in Parker County” for Dog Training and Pet Boarding! We are so thankful to YOU, yes YOU, our amazing clients! We are also grateful to our knowledgeable, caring and awesome staff! 2024 will bring new training programs, and new technology which will allow clients to book services, submit paperwork, and communicate with us, with greater ease! Let’s chat about the importance of stretching, conditioning and the overall structural health of our athletic dogs. The sport I participate in with my dogs is a full impact sport. I have experienced the importance of PT, regular chiropractic, and stretching to help prevent injuries. Whether you go on long hikes/walks, dock diving, agility or bite sports, I encourage everyone to learn a few basic stretching techniques as well as a regular warm up/cool down routine before/after any strenuous activity. Let’s keep our dogs not only mentally engaged but physically engaged as well!

Texas K9 University is a dog training, boarding and multi use K9 facility, proudly serving the great state of Texas and the USA.

We train all kinds of dogs - big, small and in between, all ages and all levels of obedience. We do not stereotype breeds, nor do we have a cookie cutter one-size-fits-all approach to training your dog. We believe each dog is an individual and should be treated as such.

Whether your goal is to take your untrained dog from chaos to control or your want to achieve rock solid off leash control of your dog in real world situations, our training programs can take you there. We offer private lessons as well as board and train options.

Our approach to training utilizes positive reinforcement techniques that are proven effective and produce lasting results that are enjoyable to both the dog and owner. Our philosophy encompasses the physical and mental well being of your dog. We do believe in corrections but they do not involve pain, fear or intimidation. We strive to enhance the relationship and bond between you and your dog. We train your dog to want to learn.
