Little baby Whitley got her first real saddle yesterday! Few snorts and “ hey umm are you sure that should be on my back “ moments!
Overall she killed it! Then we transitioned right into our ground work and she’s like oh yep I know this stuff.
Good job baby let’s keep it up!

Little baby Whitley is doing so well with her patience training!! She doesn’t like her mane, forelock or tail brushed for some reason so… braid time!! She ended up relaxing then when it was all said and done she wanted more!!
This little girl learns quick! Super soft kind eye at only 3 years old!

Toowie got his forever home today! He’s gonna grow with this young boy and show him the ways of the ranch 🙂
I only worked with Toowie for a short time. But in that short time I saw the drive he had and the willingness he had to just try! These two are gonna become a great pair! Happy trails boys! 😃

I am super blessed to say that KB’s horsin around is growing tremendously! With Offering horse training, Lessons, and animal sitting. My name has been spread around in such a positive way! Welcome little Whitley to KB’s horsin around 🐴🫶🏼!
This little 3 year is is ready to start learning what her new job will be. Eventually she will be a kids horse. She is sweet as can be. Just wants to be petted the entire time I was with her. That is gonna aid in my favor as just a simple pet will be a great reward and great positive reinforcement for her!
Today was our first real session and we worked on ground work things that will help her her entire life! Excited to see how this little girl will adapt to me!!

Got the privilege to ride in the 18th annual Cowboy parade in the stockyards.
I rode my Texas mammas April Waldie horse Maggie. It was Maggie’s First parade and first time being out even in a long time! She KILLED IT! She did so well! Proud trainer moment ❤️
Then I brought along my 4 year old Texas .
Texas has been just a blessing to watch bloom into a beautiful young horse.
She is spunky she is calm she is sweet!
She did so so so well! She handled all the people, sounds, distractions perfectly! Another proud trainer moment ☺️
Fhen cowboy had to come along for the ride 😉 with Grant Dixon
Cowboy is one heck of a horse and he’s starting to learn that so he also was a joy to watch and see bloom into doing new things!
Overall such an amazing fun experience for me and my animals
I love what I do!

My deepest prayers go out to my Wisconsin horse family. Two beautiful little girls were taken from their families way too soon in a tragic accident. I didn’t personally know the girls too well but I got the privilege to see them both ride back in Wisconsin. Yall were some true die heart cowgirls and your memory will live on forever. I know everyone will do you justice and keep that memory alive. To all my friends grieving about the loss and just heartbroken… even tho I’m states away. Please let me know if I can help in any way!

The new horse to the left is my new project mare!!! ( still thinking of names )!
She is big and beautiful and just a sweetheart!
The Mare to the right is one of my clients who needs more everyday work now! Miss J-LO
Got her very first bath today at the NEW BARN!
Girls ( and my personal horses ) are all settling in super amazing to the new property!

I feel like the past few weeks has just been… rain.. catch up.. rain catchup.. rain catch up..
but thanks to my amazing flexible clients we are still able to push through and eventually get all this work done 🐴! Blessed!!!

Do you have a horse that pulls back or doesn’t stay tied well?!?

Miss Raine is here really in early stages of learning how to stay tied. I call this “ intro to tying “ because that’s exactly what this exercise is. I put the rope around something ( like I would tie ) however I don’t tie it, I just go on the other side of the fence and I hold this and keep pressure so they understand what it’s like to be tied up.
However I do this because if she were to go absolutely crazy and need to get out I can simply let go. But if she tries to pull back I’m gonna keep tension on the lead rope so she learns she shouldn’t pull back every time.
Be aware! Let go if you need to but every time they pull back try to keep some tension so they release it themselves 💪🏼🙂‍↔️
