This is Cash-Cash was found in the bank parking lot at just 1 day old. He is now 17 weeks old, has been Rabies vaccinated, has just 1 booster left of FVRCP vaccine, and is FELV/FIV negative.

He is looking for his forever home for the Holidays! He is very sweet, playful, and classically rambunctious! He will play with you and then fall asleep in your arms. His foster mom is asking $100 rehoming fee to help cover some of his medical expenses.

If interested, please reach out to us at 817-523-7210.

❄️As we get some colder weather-here are a few tips for caring for your fur-babies ❄️

🐾 1. Limit Time Outdoors
Cold temperatures, wind chill, and ice can cause frostbite—especially on ears, paws, and tails. Keep walks shorter on very cold days.
🧥 2. Use Sweaters or Coats
Short-haired, senior, and small-breed dogs benefit from added warmth. Make sure clothing is dry before each use.
🐶 3. Protect the Paws
Ice melt, salt, and cold pavement can irritate paw pads. Use pet-safe de-icer at home, wipe paws after walks, or use booties.
🚗 4. Beware of Car Dangers
Cats may hide under warm vehicles. Knock on the hood before starting the car. Never leave pets alone in cold cars.
🥶 5. Watch for Hypothermia & Frostbite
Signs include shivering, pale or red skin, lethargy, or cold extremities. Seek veterinary care ASAP.
💧 6. Prevent Dry Skin
Indoor heating can cause itchy skin. Use a humidifier and avoid over-bathing.
🐱 7. Keep Them Active Indoors
Shorter days mean fewer outdoor walks—use enrichment toys, treat puzzles, and indoor play to prevent weight gain.
☠️ 8. Be Cautious with Antifreeze
Even small amounts can be fatal. Clean spills immediately and store products securely.
🍲 9. Adjust Food Intake Wisely
Some pets may need more calories for outdoor activity; others need fewer due to reduced exercise. Ask your vet before changing diets.
🔥 10. Pet-Proof Winter Hazards
Heaters, fireplaces, candles, and holiday decorations can cause burns or injuries. Supervise pets around heat sources.

🐾 Thanksgiving Pet Safety Tips 🦃
🍗 No Table Scraps
Avoid giving pets turkey bones, skin, gravy, or fatty foods — they can cause upset stomach or pancreatitis.
🍫 Dangerous Foods
Keep chocolate, onions, garlic, grapes, raisins, and xylitol-sweetened desserts out of reach — these are toxic to pets.
🗑️ Secure the Trash
Pets love leftovers! Make sure garbage cans are sealed to prevent sneaky snacking.
🌽 Watch the Decorations
Corn cobs, string, candles, and centerpieces can be hazardous if chewed or swallowed.
🚪 Guests Coming and Going
Remind visitors to keep doors closed — pets may slip out unnoticed. Consider a quiet space for shy pets to relax.
💊 Medication Safety
Keep human medicine and supplements away from curious noses.

🐶 Signs Your Pet May Be Sick:
Vomiting or diarrhea
Refusing food or water
Lethargy or hiding
Excessive drooling or panting
Bloated belly
Shaking, pacing, or whining
Sudden changes in behavior
If you notice these signs, contact us right away 817-523-7210 or call Pet Poison Helpline (844-492-9842).
