Attention jam makers!

Raspberries are now free! We’re saying goodbye to the raspberries for the season and you’re welcome to hunt for any ripe berries that may be left. There are many that have gone by, but the ripe berries may be hiding in the shade underneath the new growth.

Blueberries are in their prime and we’ll be picking 🫐 for another 2-3 weeks!

Pick an extra pint is back! If you have time to pick an extra pint (or two) of blueberries, we’ll donate them to a local food pantry 🫐

It’s supposed to be a gorgeous next few days and perfect berry picking weather! Open through the weekend 8:00am-6:00pm. Blueberries are coming in throughout and the raspberries are still hanging on!

Picking tips:
BLUEBERRIES 🫐 Look for berries that are in clusters with mostly blue berries. These will be the most ripe and least tart.

RASPBERRIES • The juiciest berries will be the ones hiding under the new growth foliage that are shaded from the sun. The berries are starting to go by, so more care to picking them at the right stage (bright red, no white or pink and not getting soft) will give you the ones with the best flavor!

We're excited to welcome everyone back to the Springvale Farm Walk in just a few weeks!

We will be opening for the season on Wednesday, July 8th! The raspberries are plentiful and $4 per pint (pint containers provided). Blueberries are ripening and should be available within about a week. We hope to see you this week!
