As a small business especially taxidermy word of mouth is my number one advertising. Anyone that has had work done it would be great if you could leave a review good or bad as we always try to improve this industry is always growing our shows are built to help us improve but nothing helps more then getting feedback straight from our customers leave a review if you can. It is greatly appreciated.

Working on tanning last batch of animals and doing some paint work on heads for couple geese.

Finishing up our last batch of deer tans and this is next on chopping block. 500 plus pound boar.

Finish work on a few deer today and sent 2 deer home. Missing one Pic got busy forgot to get it. We are tanning our last batch of hides this weekend through next week.

Work is coming along nicely couple weeks all these will get finish work. We are down to under 20 jobs left for year and working to try to get them all done by end of August mid September.

Finished couple more up. One of these days I'll keep up with this page better. We are down to about 1/3 of our deer mounts remaining as well as working on some other work needing completed.

Get a custom base done with Gary's Custom Pedestals and bases for your mount. He can make any custom request with any wood request. Here are some pictures of the current completed bases.

Rifle season opens Saturday as well as extended bear season. We have limited slots for bear and will take as many deer as I can hold. We are still currently on appointment drop off only. Season is quickly approaching, and I would like to update a couple key notes.
1. We will be by appointment only for drop offs. Please call ahead to ensure I am here life happens whether dr. appointments, emergencies or even supply runs.
2. Our contract has been updated and will be read and signed before any specimen is accepted. You will be notified when your mount is in the drying stage and then contacted when ready for pick up. This gives you ample time to prepare to pick up your specimen. Mounts will be picked up within 10 business days. After 10 business days you will begin accruing storage fees and at 30 days your mount will be considered abandoned and become possession of the taxidermy shop for resale to recover the remaining balance. The shop does not have the space to be holding completed mounts for durations of time. Just as you do not work for free neither do I.
3. Ensure you bring in all proper documentation with your specimen. permits if required as well as hunting license authorizing the harvest. This is pertinent information for the shop. No specimen will be accepted without this documentation.

Duck, upland game bird, predator, and squirrel seasons are all just around the corner!
This is sometimes hard to do, but folks, please try not to bring your taxidermist critters from the first few weeks of season. Purely for the fact that bird plumage and the density of animal fur is MUCH fuller in the late fall and winter months (November-February).
A few examples.. I’ve mounted early and late season squirrels. The late season ones are noticeably fluffier and filled out.
I’ve also mounted a lot of early season waterfowl that have a bunch of pin feathers, in turn resulting in missing feathers. Mid to late season waterfowl mount up much prettier, assuming they aren’t shot to pieces.

Headed out this morning to attend a rattle snake seminar and put together this nice 4 foot western diamond back. Now to make adjustments for next few days and wait for it to dry to finish it and get base done.

Hunts for healing raffle. 1 name drawn per 100 sold. $20 per chance. Drawings held at hunts for healing events. Next drawing September 24th 2023 as long as minimum 100 tickets sold. Winner gets choice. I have some tickets at the shop for purchase.

Had a fellow veteran from hunts for healing arrive today to pick up her soft tanned deer hide. She dropped of this nice walking stick she made me. Also dropped of deer antler whistles for kids and couple jars of pickled deer heart for me. Thank you Renee Strine. Supply order arriving this week then back to work on customer mounts.
