Removed this almost 5 inch piece of wood from a dogs oral cavity. It had punctured the tissue right where your tonsils are.

The dog presented for drooling, decreased appetite, decreased water consumption and decreased activity.
I classify him as ADR(ain’t doin right).

I actiually saw it peaking over his tongue and pulled it out. Then sedated him afterwards to better examine the oral cavity.

Pain meds and antibiotics ought to fix him up.

Be on the look out please.

We took a look at Gloria( yes I named the town goat) the goat that was internet famous recently.
She has some pretty gnarly wounds to her rear legs from possibly bite wounds. The front leg isn’t broken but swollen and like infected from wounds.
Pain meds and antibiotics for Gloria. And a tetanus shot.

Finally after 15 years of practice, I found my white Buffalo, unicorn, golden goose, etc…. For years I’ve hoped to pluck a feline nasopharyngeal polyp from a kitten. Today it happened. Good ol Dapper, Dapper Dan, had been seen for respiratory issues. They responded initially to antibiotics but didn’t resolve AND his breathing worsened. We sedated Dapper today and plucked a 3/4” lovely polyp from his nasopharynx.

Instant cure. He can breathe now. And for reference, this a 12 week old kitten. To say I was overjoyed, is an understatement.

A dog tried to tear this goats nose off.
She’s heavy bred so we did a local, cleaned it out as best we could and sutured it up. A shot of antibiotics and another in 72 hours and hopefully it holds and doesn’t get infected.

UPDATE: we will carry a small amount of the canine influenza vaccine for those clients who board at facilities that require it.
Rather than inconvenience our clients by going to other facilities for it.

We do not require it for our limited boarding and daycare patients.

Removed this coin purse from a 9 yo mini Shetland sheep dog. She presented for urinating excessively and urinating blood. Stones were noted via US and confirmed via radiography. Surgery was performed with total removal of the stones. 100s were removed of varying sizes. Stone analysis pending but they are likely struvite stones based off appearance.
