Wh**ey has been spotted. She is hanging out around here. In the pasture behind us(thank you Mr jones for calling). She did run up by the clinic and was seen around us, the construction, pest control area.

We did set eyes on her and about 15 foot from but she trotted off. Called animal control to see if they could help us set up a trap to may be catch her.

A young, 1 year old female Great Pyrenees mix got out of the clinic fence. She went straight back towards the train tracks behind the clinic.
The dogs name is wh**ey and very skittish.
If you see the dog please contact the clinic.
It seems she went back towards the old springs road area. We did not see her when we went up and down the train tracks nor down old springs road.

Don’t forget it can cause sterility and abortions as well.

Anaplasmosis is a disease characterized by progressive anemia and caused by the rickettsial organism Anaplasma marginale.

I will not be in the office Friday afternoon 1/31/2025 and Wednesday 2/05/2025. The office will still be open but with no doctors hours.
I will do my best to catch folks back up. I’m here to serve my patients and their owners but I’ve gotta make time for personal matters.

Permethrin toxicity in a cat. Cats are very sensitive to permethrin. Usually this is seen when dog flea meds are put on cats. This kittens cause was bengals insect spray used in the house. The kitten came in contact with it(probably got around the residue and then groomed). This one was severe, it affects the neurotransmitters of the cat. Mild signs are face, paw, twitching and hypersalivation. This severe case was tremors to seizing which poses the risk of self harm and hyperthermia. This cat required multiple doses of sedatives and muscle relaxers. As well as cold baths numerous times until the tremors slowed. She is better and back to normal 24 hours post exposure.

******Pardon the language. This is a dog in cabal syndrome. The short synopsis, is its end stage heartworm disease causing heart failure. The dog would die without a procedure to open its jugular vein and manually remove the adult worms. This dog has 30+ worms removed. *****credit to my wonderful classmate for allowing me to post this video.
