Potty training your puppy: This is going to be controversial but there is NO such thing as a dog being fully potty trained until their bladders have fully developed, around 6 months give or take. So… what can you do to make things easier on you and your pup during this time? 🐶Get them on a crate/potty schedule. 🐾Monitor their food and water intake. Easiest way to do this is a feeding schedule. 🐶Pay attention to your dogs cues. Sniffing in circles, time to get them outside! 🐾Get them outside often, at least every 1-2 hours. Yep, they’re like newborns! 🐶Have a specified play area inside for your pup. If they wander away from you chances are they’re going to find a place to potty when the urge strikes. 🐾Be consistent.
