Hi, I’m Lola! I am a 20lbs mixed breed dog being fostered in Nocatee. I had a rough start in life. I was brought over as a puppy from the Bahamas and spent almost 5 years as a family pet in a house with 3 kids. When our mom unexpectedly passed away, my dad was too overwhelmed with the human babies to keep me. Luckily a nice lady took me in and promised to find me a great home. She thought she found my forever home earlier this year. I lived with them for 4 months and I had a kid to play with again! I was their first dog and really happy there - but then something terrible happened. We were on a walk when a big scary dog attacked us! My boy and I were both bit. He dropped my leash and I went missing in the woods of Julington Creek for 8 whole days with an open wound and my leash and harness on! No one thought I would make it, but I am tough! When I was found on the golf course, I thought I would be returned to my boy but sadly they decided that owning a dog was not for them… so now I am back with my foster mom. She took great care of my wound and I’m all healed up with a cutie mark scar like a My Little Pony now. And I still love people and other dogs! While I like it here, I really want my own forever family before the holidays. I’m a good girl! I am housetrained, up to date on shots, spayed, I know my name, and I don’t chew or do anything naughty. Although small, I love playing with the big dogs at the dog park! Hurricane Helene Update #1: Animal Hospital Closed today until further notice.

Good morning. We hope everyone is ok after Hurricane Helene and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by the storm. Right now we have no power at the animal hospital so we must cancel appointments. We won’t have phones or computers to contact you until the power comes on so please stand by. Please join us in a huge congratulations to our clients, the Ray family! Their son, Morgan Ray, won a silver medal in the mixed 4 x 50 meter mixed relay at the Paralympic Games in Paris yesterday! That’s male/female team, every stroke! We’ve followed Morgan’s hard work here at The Bolles School for many years and we are all so proud of him!!
