Update: Sweet baby raccoon is with Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation under the best care!

Please send prayers for this sweet raccoon kit! A sweet lady found him in her yard and brought him in, but he may be sick. He loved his bottle of kitten milk and is resting at the office. How cute is he!!! 🦝🦝

Just a regular day at the office! Who else is ready for the weekend, like sweet Oat, the pig?!Oat did not mind being weighed, but was not happy about his shot. Luckily he’s easily distracted with his special treat - cheerios!!! Everyone say hello to this sweet bundle of joy!!

Dr. Hugh and Coast News on what to do if your pet’s microchip company went out of business ⤵️

Note: Durbin Creek Animal Hospital has never used this company, but we can scan your chip if you are not sure where your chip is registered.

One of the roughly 40 pet microchip monitoring companies suddenly went out of business, leaving pet owners wondering what to do about keeping their pets safe.

Hi, I’m Lola! I am a 20lbs mixed breed dog being fostered in Nocatee. I had a rough start in life. I was brought over as a puppy from the Bahamas and spent almost 5 years as a family pet in a house with 3 kids. When our mom unexpectedly passed away, my dad was too overwhelmed with the human babies to keep me. Luckily a nice lady took me in and promised to find me a great home. She thought she found my forever home earlier this year. I lived with them for 4 months and I had a kid to play with again! I was their first dog and really happy there - but then something terrible happened. We were on a walk when a big scary dog attacked us! My boy and I were both bit. He dropped my leash and I went missing in the woods of Julington Creek for 8 whole days with an open wound and my leash and harness on! No one thought I would make it, but I am tough! When I was found on the golf course, I thought I would be returned to my boy but sadly they decided that owning a dog was not for them… so now I am back with my foster mom. She took great care of my wound and I’m all healed up with a cutie mark scar like a My Little Pony now. And I still love people and other dogs! While I like it here, I really want my own forever family before the holidays. I’m a good girl! I am housetrained, up to date on shots, spayed, I know my name, and I don’t chew or do anything naughty. Although small, I love playing with the big dogs at the dog park!
