it’s that time of year again! all the knitted everything season😍

as you may or may not know, i’ve had a lot of personal challenges going on with my physical and mental health lately. so unfortunately my knits will be extra limited time this year as i’ve been sick and unable to knit as much as i’d like to.

today is Juneteenth. i would like to give the mic over to my BIPOC brothers and sisters to share their thoughts and feelings (feel free to drop your comments if you have anything you'd like others to know.)

if you don't know the history behind what today is please educate yourselves. the only way to move forward as truly FREE people is to study our nation's history-- and not the whitewashed version that is only from the privileged perspectives-- so that we do not make the same mistakes our ancestors did.

Juneteenth was a huge step forward in many ways.
And yet, we still have a long ways to go.

to my amazing strong beautiful BIPOC friends, I will never even pretend to understand your struggles. but I promise to always listen and try to educate myself as best I can. if you need to talk about the bittersweet and heavy things we both celebrate and mourn today, my dm's are open.

and for the rest of us, i encourage you to take the 5 minutes out of your day and listen to this beautiful anthem performed by Cynthia Erivo. i heard it about a few years ago and it still moves me every time i see it. may we be a people who stand up to slavery and every injustice. may we be the people that do their part to help set captives free.

SURPRISE!!!!
we have a new line launching of skincare products!
first up we have the pocket scrubby! these may look small but they pack a punch in their small size (3"x2.5").
my favorite part about these are that they have two sides. personally i use one side for my cleanser and the other for toner. these are a much more cost effective and eco-friendly alternative to disposable cotton rounds.
secondly we have a luxuriously oversized scrubby (can be used on the face or body) that is about 3" in diameter.
these are my favorite because they remind me of a really good book series! Author Tabitha Caplinger wrote an amazing trilogy and as i was designing these i couldn't help but think of the Chronicle of the Three series ( )! and i had to share because its genuinely my favorite trilogy and not just because i know and love the author.
if you haven't read them (what the heck have you been doing?! hehe just kidding) grab some copies on amazon and enjoy the amazing read. and if you have read them, buy some scrubbies that Maggie would approve of. 😉
these are the first two designs but they won't be the last!
very limited stock is available, and i will be having a medical procedure in the coming week(s) so if you want some grab them while you can!
each set is $25 and comes with 5 scrubbies!
a small disclaimer on sizing: these take about a week to make so since they aren't made all in the same sitting, the sizing does vary a tad bit depending on how stressed i am (lol i'm actually not kidding, tension is different based on what you're doing/feeling!) but the differences are minor and never more than 1/4".
currently all of the sets pictured are available!!
