Fern is a star, a to be exact 🤩

This adorable pup is Fern! Fern is a 4-year-old Brittany mix and he is full of that Spaniel spirit 🥳

Fern came to us through our Animal Cruelty Task Force in October. When he arrived he had itchy skin that needed treatment and was very nervous.

He has since come out of his shell and is eager to go on walks and meet new people!

He was very excited when he got to adventure down to KSDK News to meet Mercedes Mackay 💙

Now it's time for Fern to find his forever home!

We’re heartbroken.

Last night, someone stole 54 bronze memorial plaques from the Carol Throop Memorial Park. These plaques were placed to honor cherished pets and loved ones.

We are devastated that this peaceful space, which welcomes countless people and pets, has been so mistreated.

Moments like this remind us why spaces of remembrance matter so deeply.
We are working to replace these bricks as quickly as possible.

Milo has mastered the art of the blanket fort, now he just needs more supplies! 🩵

Both our Macklind and Best Buddy shelters are running low on the items that help pets like Milo feel safe and cozy while they wait for their forever homes.

We would be so grateful for donations of:

Katniss is showing off for 😜

This adorable girl is a 7-month-old Plott Hound mix, and she has been growing up here at the shelter. Despite her long wait she insists on making everyone laugh daily!

She’s cute. She’s silly. She’s been here WAY too long.

Dexter knows how to meet and impress new people 🤝

This handsome pup is Dexter! Dexter is a 9-year-old German Shepherd mix, and he is such a good boy!

Dexter has been waiting for a forever family to adopt him since October 🥺

Dexter has lived in a home with other dogs and kids and has done well! He is looking for a cat free home, because he thinks they're fun to chase.

Dexter made his TV debut on KMOV with Cameron Bopp yesterday. He showed off his sweet nature and said hi to everyone he met 💞

We're celebrating with Paddy!! 🍀

Paddy is the luckiest pup because he's been spending his time in a loving foster home while he waits for his forever family to find him!

Paddy is a 9-month-old Pittie mix with the sweetest personality. He came to us as a stray in September, which means he has spent much of his puppy life with us...

In November Paddy headed off to a foster home and here's what they have to say about him:

"Paddy is a young pup who is equal parts playful and cuddly. He loves long walks to explore new smells, chewing on sticks and playing with other dogs. He knows sit and walks extremely well on the leash for a pup his age! He is also crate trained and almost fully potty trained!"

We know Paddy's forever family is out there... he just needs a little luck! 🌠

Moo Moo is already snuggling up with his candy cane blanket ❤️

All of our pets can't wait to enjoy an evening full of holiday cheer!

Teddy is a 3-year-old longhaired German Shepherd looking for a forever home.

He’s a very sweet boy who is classic to his breed: loyal, sensitive, and intelligent. Teddy takes a little time to bond with new people, but when he trusts you, he absolutely aims to please.

Arcade is ready to play! 🕹️🐾

This gorgeous girl is a 1-year-old Plott Hound mix with the most beautiful brindled coat 🧡

Arcade came to us as a stray at the end of September. She was very pregnant and it wasn't long before she gave birth to a litter of adorable pups.

Arcade was an amazing mom to her puppies and now it's her turn to be loved and cared for in a forever home.

Arcade visited KSDK News this morning and got to spend some time with Mercedes Mackay 🤩
