The bigger the cat the more love they have to give 💕

Today is and our adorable adoptable cat that we wanted to share with you today has quite the story.

In July this handsome boy came to us as a stray. He arrived weighing 28.4 lbs., had matting that needed to be shaved, and a grade 2 heart murmur. Suffice it to say, he was going to need a lot of TLC before he would be ready for adoption.

He quickly became a shelter favorite, and has affectionately been named Big Papa 🐈
In the few months that he has been with us he has started losing weight, and his loving personality has started to shine.

We know that Big Papa's purrfect forever family is out there, but he needs your help to find it!

A bonded pair going home!? Best news ever!!! 💕

Stormfly and Lugnut came to us all the way back in May, and they waited for months for their forever home.

They were inseparable and we knew that it would take a very special person to open their home to two large dogs at once, but we never gave up hope!

Then one day their perfect mom came through the door!
Now Stormfly and Lugnut are forever home... together 🥰

Cora recently celebrated her first Gotcha Day 🥳

Here's what her forever family had to share:

"It has been so fun to watch Cora’s goofy and sassy personality flourish. She has to be tucked into bed with multiple covers. She loves cuddling on the couch with anyone who will give her attention. Car rides in the hopes of a new adventure induce zoomies. Her current bestie is the neighborhood cat, Lily. My baby cousin she loves to watch to make sure he is okay. This lady has managed to bring light during some of the darkest times of my life just by being by my side and somehow fit perfectly in with our family. Adopt don’t shop, forever."

Rhonda's ears are exceptional! This adorable girl is an almost 2-year-old Pittie mix.

Rhonda is a very silly energetic girl. She loves to play and spend time with her people!

She would prefer to be the only pup in your life, but we think she's absolutely worth it 🥰

Our beautiful girl Paisley got to go on an adventure to Tower Grove Park with one of her favorite volunteers! 💕

Paisley is a 5-year-old Pittie mix who is FULL of love!!!

She is a sweet and affectionate girl who just wants to please. She enjoys walks and time with her person. She loves having a bed and blankets to snuggle up in and would make a perfect cuddle buddy!

This scruffy boy is sure to steal your heart 💕

This is Chicago, a 2-year-old Terrier mix.

Chicago was one of the many dogs that were rescued from Christian County at the end of July.

This sweet boy is still learning what it means to be a dog. His quiet and careful personality will require a patient forever family to help him adjust to life in a home.

As the dogs from this rescue start to head home we are so happy to see them starting to show us their personalities. Every tail wag brings us joy!
