How cute is this pup with the perfect mismatched ears?

Lilly is a 7-month-old Plott Hound mix puppy!

Lilly came to our Best Buddy Pet Center in Maryland Heights last month and since then her silly personality has started to emerge!

As a young pup, Lilly has a lot of energy that she loves to get out by running around the pen 🎉
She is also a very smart girl and would excel in training classes 🎓

Rosie threw a Gotcha Day party at the one, the only Zoomies Pet Cafe STL with all of her 4-legged-friends!

Rosie was adopted from HSMO back in 2021 and she really hit the jackpot of forever homes!

This week we have a Frozen Foster Friday! ⛄

Delta enjoyed her snow days when her foster family braved the cold to play in the winter wonderland!

Delta is an 11-month-old Lab mix who came to HSMO back in September. This beautiful girl is a true sweetheart who is ready to find a forever home of her own.

She is currently living in a foster family with dogs, cats, and kids and she has done well with all 3!! 🥰

Since she's still young Delta does love to run around, but after all that fun she's usually ready for a long nap on the couch 💤

We're celebrating Purrsday with Salem 😻

Salem is a handsome 10-year-old red tabby with a heart of gold.

Salem has been waiting at the shelter for nearly 100 days 😓
He has been spending his time snoozing in his comfy bed and dreaming of his forever home.

This sweet boy has become a shelter staff favorite as he is always ready to snuggle and gets excited to see us!

Our amazing shelter staff and volunteers are here and making sure that the pups are getting some time to enjoy the snow!

We cannot thank our dedicated teams enough for braving the elements for all of the pets in our care 💖

Rockie tried on her earmuffs before she left for her forever home last week, just in time for the winter weather!

While we may be closed to the public don't worry, our amazing shelter staff is making sure the pets are all taken care of! ☃️🐾

We love when our alums check in with us and this Pupdate really made our day! 💓

"I adopted a dog, Dash, earlier this month. I’m not sure how often people do this, or if they do at all, but I wanted to say thank you!

Dash has been the perfect addition to my home and is settling in nicely. He enjoys walks, stealing socks, and snuggles.

Thank you for all you do at the Humane Society to help these animals find amazing homes! Please enjoy these photos, as well as the before his haircut photo. He looks like a brand new dog. Happy holidays!"

This is a snuggly 💤

Since it's the first Foster Friday of the year we wanted to shout out our amazing foster parents who are providing loving homes where homeless pets can rest and recover.

273 volunteers provided 27,160 days of foster care to shelter animals in 2024 alone!!

We could not do this without them!!

Living in a shelter environment can be very overwhelming for pets and we are so grateful to the generous, big hearted, foster families who open their homes and hearts to pets in need 🏡

While that statistic is amazing we would love to welcome new foster parents in 2025!

Introducing the cutest girl on the whole Candy Land game board: Princess Lolly! 🎲👑

Princess Lolly is a 3-month-old Plott hound mix who got to go on an epic adventure to see Cameron Bopp at KMOV! She loved all the attention she got at the studio and can't wait to meet her forever family, too. Interested adopters can meet this sweet girl at HSMO's Maryland Heights shelter 💞
