The many faces of Katniss 😂

Katniss celebrated in Tower Grove Park last week and got to enjoy some beautiful fall leaves 🍂

This adorable girl is a 6-month-old Plott Hound mix and she is an absolute goofball of a pup! Her facial expressions keep us laughing!

Katniss came to us as a tiny pup back in July along with her siblings. All of them went off to find forever homes, but Katniss is still waiting for a forever home of her own.

Move over Matt Damon, there's a new star in town 🤩

Introducing MUTT Damon! A 5-year-old ball of fluff who has been through more than his fair share, but nothing will stop this little guy!

Mutt Damon came to HSMO as a stray in August with a broken leg that needed to be amputated. He also had an injury to his tail, which resulted in his tail also needing to be amputated.

Despite all of this Mutt Damon is a very happy pup! He is looking for a forever home that will provide him all the love he deserves, and maybe even a lap to sleep on 💞

Mutt Damon made his TV debut on KSDK News with Michelle Li this morning where he showed just how perfect he is!

Penelope is forever home and forever loved!! 💞

You may remember hearing about Penelope and her life saving donation of blood to an anemic stray puppy, just a couple weeks ago.

We knew that this girl deserved to find a forever home where she would be treasured... and now she is!!

Mango recently celebrated her first Gotcha Day! 🥳

Here's how her first year has been:

"We are so beyond happy having U*i- now named Mango- in our home. She has significantly improved my quality of life and we are happy to have improved hers. Not only is she the cuddliest cat, she is THE SWEETEST cat I’ve ever met in my whole life. Mango is kind to all guests, except for in dog form….She loves to play with her laser toy and bunny kick her catnip pickle. 🥰"

Hilda is an 8-month-old Belgian Malinois mix who came to us as a stray in October.

When she arrived, she was shy and overwhelmed — and while she’s slowly blossoming, the shelter is still a tough place for her to truly thrive.

Hilda would love a foster home where she can relax, build confidence, and keep letting that sweet personality shine.
