She is about 1.5 years old and weighs only 30 pounds. She has tons of personality and loves toys and playing with people. She likes other dogs a lot and is working on her manners.

Susannah is a beautiful mama cat who is ready to be adopted! She is approximately 3-4 years old and so kind.

She lived a hard life before coming to us as she has clearly had multiple litters of kittens. After she weaned her most recent litter, she got spayed so she will never have to give birth again.

As you can see, she loves hanging out in the sink or watching the birds fly back while relaxing in front of the window. She seems to do fine with other cats around her but hasn't really engaged with cats beyond being in the same space with them.

We'd love for Susannah to find her forever family!

In 5 weeks, Pepper's Bar & Grill will be hosting a fundraising event where a portion of the proceeds will benefit our mission. This event is being organized by one of our amazing clients in honor of her mother's memory.

This is Max! He is 14 weeks old and what we believe to be a Basset Hound mix. He has a long body, round belly, long ears, and short legs. He is one of the most interesting and handsome puppies we have ever seen! Max is also missing part of his right ear and we believe that he was injured or possibly mistreated before he was found and brought to us by a partnering shelter. His ear is fully healed, and often stands up while the other flops down, which adds to his adorable quirkiness!

Max is loved by both the shelter staff and his foster! According to his foster family, Max LOVES people. He will follow you everywhere you go around the house and just wants to be close to someone at all times. He is happy to sleep right in between your legs and be involved in any and every activity you do. He also gets along great with the other dogs, puppy, and child in the home. Sometimes Max does need to be given mandatory breaks when playing or he will just play all day. He is a very special boy and loved by everyone who meets him.

We believe that Max will be the best family dog and we cannot wait to see him thrive in his forever home!

Klaus had an appointment to be adopted today but they didn't show up 😔

Klaus came to us with his parents and siblings who we posted recently. He's always excited to see us with his tail wagging hard each time we visit. He keeps his kennel clean and potties as soon as he gets outside.

Ollie is 3 months old and getting more handsome every day!

He was found as a stray in North County but no owner was located. Since he is so young, we assume that he was abandoned. Since he has been in care, staff members say that he absolutely loves attention and playtime. He has never met a toy or person that he doesn't like! Before he came to us, he played with his finder's adult dogs and did well. He's a smart pup so we think he'll take to housetraining and obedience quickly!

Kai is a well-behaved boy who loves to go on walks or hang out with people, getting pets and attention. He keeps his kennel clean and potties when he gets outside. He walks well on a harness and loves getting to spend time with staff members on walks.

We would recommend Kai go to a home where he is the only dog. He's so sweet, and we'd love to find him his forever home!

Meet Skipper and Snoopy! We believe that they are 10-week-old Beagle/Pittie mixes.

They came to Judy's Forgotten Jewells on August 23rd. They were brought to us after they were found as strays. Since they have been in care, staff members say that they are very friendly boys who love playtime and affection. Toys are their favorite thing! They get along well with other dogs and seem to like every person they meet!

They are ready to be adopted so please let us know if you'd like to meet them.

This chunky puppy is Max! He came to us last weekend, and we absolutely love him.

We believe he is about 14 weeks old. He weighs 20 pounds but may be a Bassett Hound mix!? He's low to the ground with short and stubby legs.

This is Roger! We believe that he is a 2 or 3-year-old Longhaired Dachshund mix. He currently weighs 18 pounds.

Roger came to us on August 24th. He was surrendered to us with his parents and siblings when his previous owner could no longer afford to care for them. Since he has been in care, staff members say that he is a quiet and sweet guy with lots of love to give. He keeps his kennel clean and potties as soon as he gets outside. He is a little nervous in new surroundings so he will need some time to adjust to a new home but we are confident he will warm up to his new family quickly. After he learned that he was safe with us, he started to show us love almost immediately!

Roger is heartworm-positive and currently taking medication before the injection treatment. The entirety of his heartworm treatment is covered by his adoption fee when services are done at Jewell Animal Hospital.
