We’re ecstatic to be welcoming a talented group of Veterinarians, Technicians & Staff from the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society when they are in St. Louis for the conference in September! They will be providing free wellness exams, heartworm testing, vaccines, and microchips to the pets in our program. 🐶💉🐱

Next up from this weekend, huge thank you to Len, Ernie, Jenny and Tracy (Jenny not pictured)! Len put up new drywall to replace our moldy office wall. Ernie, Jenny and Tracy took a break from trapping to help us with bagging and prepping/epoxying floors. Ernie spent both days working on floors for us. Not to mention it was 100 degrees inside the warehouse and we don’t have air conditioning. Thank you all!

Whew, what a weekend! So much accomplished. First up, we must thank the team from Veterinary Emergency Group in Brentwood! On Saturday they braved the heat and bagged up several thousand pounds of pet food for our upcoming distribution. Thanks, VEG Brentwood!

This past week, we were presented with a $500 grant courtesy of ! Their mission is to create a more inclusive, sustainable food ecosystem in the St. Louis Metro Area. We were so happy to be included as the first organization with a focus on pets. Thank you Food City!

Gateway is hosting another drive thru clinic coming up on Saturday August 3, 9 - 11 am.💉🚗

The first 100 pets can receive their annual rabies and distemper vaccines, $15 microchips, and/or low-cost parasite prevention. 🐕‍🦺🐈

The drive-thru clinic is held at the Pet Resource Center, 725 N 15 St., East St. Louis, IL 62205.📍

Gateway's drive-thru clinics are open to any pets residing in Illinois or Missouri!

Yesterday’s Pet Food Distribution was amazing! Thanks to a very generous donation from Chewy every pet parent went home with new dog and cat beds! We see a great night’s sleep in the future for so many pets. Thank you Chewy and Greater Good Charities! 🐶💤🐱
