Happy Monday, members! I wanted to share a video that I highly recommend if you are taking your dog to any dog park. This post is not intended to start a training debate however it's intended to increase awareness about how dogs view dog parks. As humans, we like to think they are all having a good time. Not always the case. Not all dogs are not a good fit for a social environment and this video goes into a bit more detail. A few things to keep in mind while you are enjoying our park:
1. Watch your dog at all times and have complete control-if your dog is engaging with another dog and one or both dogs seem uncomfortable, stop the behavior. Or separate the dogs.
2. If you are involved in an incident, please remove your dog, get the info of all involved, and please contact us directly via email or FB message
3. Discourage any unwanted behavior that could trigger a potential fight, pay attention to the body language of your dog and the other dogs at the park, sometimes the energy is just not a good fit for all dogs to get along.
4. Watch this video bc knowledge as a dog owner is key to having a safe, fun time for everyone.
