Listen to all that panting!
These boys have been playing hard all day, and getting in that much needed exercise and socialization.
Zuko and Tim Curry wanted to remind you that finding a well suited play partner for your pup is more beneficial to safety and training than attempting to acclimate your pup to a daycare setting, esspecially with breeds that are more likely to be dog selective.
We are slowly opening up our school schedule.
Zuko here is our first pup back to class, and the Quarentine period for sure had him full of pent up energy! Once we played and got reaquainted with one another he was ready to work, and it's clear that his humans have been working with him!
Practice makes perfect, and his stay has improved so much! I can completely leave the room and he holds his position! Such a smarty!!!
So proud
🐶🐾♥️🐾🐶
Muzzle training with Bowie, he's doing such a great job. The key to muzzle training is teaching the dog that having the muzzle on is a good thing by associating it with yummy treats and praise. Short sessions ensure that it stays positive and doesn't become overwhelming. 🐶🏫
Early morning playtime is a necessity for an active pup like Otis!
Young Mr Otis is staying with us for a puppy obedience board and train. He's fitting in well and getting along nicely with the other pups! He and Ginny have been playing nicely all morning and I think it's safe to say he's a tired boy now lol
Ginny is doing so well today! She's minding her limits, and is practicing ignoring strangers as they pass the house!!!!
Such a smartie!
Give this sweet girl a like or a love! ♥️👍
Arya is now up for adoption through CARE STL!
This sweet girl has been fully rehabilitated and is ready for her forever home! She has a high prey drive which means she shouldn't live with cats. She is dog selective but can learn to love any dog given time and patience. She would most likely do best as an only dog at first, but could love a puppy brother or sister down the road. She loves to give kisses and is ready to be your valentine! Like, comment, and Share her pictures far and wide to get her as much exposure as possible!
I'm on the mend, but breathing is still hard sometimes, which makes walking and playing games like tug kinda hard. So today Tim is practicing a reverse kind of fetch, which also incorporates the sit and stay commands as well as the release. Your dogs are smart, and we don't have to play the same way everyday. Feel free to challenge your pet and change up the game if you are feeling sick or worn down, you don't always have to expend all the energy in the world to still be able to engage with your dog.
Kumanda has found his Fur-ever Family!!!!! Look at how happy they all are together! We couldn't be more happy for this little guy! He deserves a great home and it looks like they're a match made in heaven! ❤️🐕💞🐕❤️
It's that time of year when we spoil the pups! Happy holidays everyone! Can you guess the human to pet present ratio under our tree this year?
Bowie is so excited to learn new things and make new friends!!!!
Jax is practicing his puppy pushups! Doing this helps to get the dogs to understand what sit actually means, and that it's more than just your butt touching the ground, sometimes you have to push yourself up! This can be a tricky thing for pups to master, but Jax is doing great!
