Located in the heart of South City, St. Louis Veterinary Center provides for all of your pet’s needs. So, here we are!

Our Story

Dr. Philip started his journey that led him to his own clinic by helping with shelters in the area, both in the city and in the county, and working with the animal protective association of Missouri. He worked with many rescue groups and piloted his own spay/neuter project. While working with all these shelters, he noticed that there was not a veterinarian located on Grand, which was a busy area that many pet owners lived in. He opened at the very end of 1991/beginning of 1992.

🐾 Marley’s Spa Day (Sort Of 😅)

Nail trims aren’t Marley’s favorite, so our team used calming medication, plenty of cheese, and lots of positive affirmations to help make his visit a more comfortable experience. 💛

🎉 Tech Week Celebration! 🎉

We closed down for lunch on Friday to celebrate our amazing veterinary technicians! 💙 The team enjoyed a well-deserved break with Hocus Pocus, Pasta House lunch, candy popcorn, soda, cookies, and ice cream. All the spoils! 🍝🍪🍦

Our team works tirelessly behind the scenes daily to keep our patients healthy and happy, and we’re so grateful for everything they do. 🐾💪

Meet Chuck Norris! 🐾💪
Don’t worry, this little tough guy isn’t fighting bad guys today, he’s just here for a skin scrape!

A skin scrape is a quick and simple diagnostic test that helps our team identify the cause of skin irritation, hair loss, or itching. Using a small sample from the surface of the skin, we can check for mites, infections, and other pesky problems under the microscope 🔬

It’s one of the ways we get to the root of your pet’s skin issues so we can create the right treatment plan and get them feeling comfortable again! ❤️
