Super Saturday! We did a thing this morning! - FINN was adopted!
He has a fabulous sun room and lots of windows all over the house.

Finn wandered all around, sniffing and was comfy enough to have a snack soon after we left. Hooray for Finn and his new mom!

Happy-Sad.... another awesome Friday event - we are tickled to let you know that the sweet Lima Bean and Leeroy have been adopted!

We are sad only because we will miss their fun personalities! But we are over the moon happy that they now have their furever home!

Yesterday was a good one- we got this photo of Violet and her new brother Cecil. They are busy becoming fast friends!

The expression on Cecil's face says it all - he looks like he is thoroughly fascinated at this lovely new creature in his house!

The Cat Network is extremely grateful to Kram, Jean, and Mark Stone of Full Circle MO Feral for the gifts of their time, expertise, and persistence to trap Tundra after he went missing from his adoptive home. He was outdoors for 10 stressful days and is now safe inside.

Tips: If you are trying to catch a cat, set trap(s) as soon as possible. If you don’t have a trap, there are many groups/shelters who can lend traps. Post and ask.

Check the trap frequently, bait and set it daily with smelly food.

There will be much advice offered that people have read on the internet that is well- intentioned but is not best practice.

We do not recommend putting the cat’s litterbox outside — it will likely draw predators and result in your cat going further away.

We advise against the frequently recommended practice of walking around shining a flashlight into bushes.
Do not chase the cat.

Let the food and trap be, and don’t give up. Sometimes it takes a while to get that cat.

This resource is recommended and is applicable to trapping any cat: https://www.alleycat.org/community-cat-care/tips-for-hard-to-trap-cats/

VIOLET went to her fur-ever home tonight and has a new cat brother named Cecil. We are so excited for Violet!

When we left, she had already curled up in a little covered bed in her temporary bedroom. Sweet dreams, Violet!
