All baths include:
~Massaging bath with a recirculating bath system
~Specialty shampoos and conditioners
(determined by skin and coat type)
~Fluff dry
~Ears cleaned (& plucked if necessary)
~Sanitation trim

~Paw pad clean up for extra traction
also at no extra charge:
~Nails trimmed & filed nice and smooth
~Anal gland expression (upon request)
~Deshedding (removal of unwanted dead hair)
~Cologne or finishing spray
~Bows or bandana.....................feathers available for additional charge

Haircuts include:
All of the above plus...
~Hand scissor, clipper, or hand stripped finish

Puppy Basics (for puppy's first time)
~bath ~dry ~nails ~ears ~ sanitation trim ~ trim the face and "back end"

Thank you to all my wonderful clients who rebooked last weekend so I could go compete. It was a crazy weekend but we made it through with 2 first place and a “Best all Around”.
I used Kevin *of course *
And a sweet boy named Doug who is a clients baby. So happy with how he turned out.

So, I have had a few people in lately that ask me how I get nails done on dogs that simply will never let the owners do it.
I know some people will comment that this is Kevin and he is a pro but no puppy starts as a pro.
I never tell Kevin or ask him that he is going to get his nails done or if he wants them done.
I do not dawn the “nail doing equipment” before procedure. No chasing him around and making a joke.
This is not play time, he understands and trust what I’m doing because this will have to happen his entire life.
I put him on a safe,stable,non-slip surface with a “seat belt”. He understands this because we practice A LOT.
I am confident with the tool. I’m not jumping and gasping as if I’m killing him. And I am not asking him how he wants any of this to go.
This is simple training. Just like “sit and come”.
I do this every other day (sometimes we forget but we get right back at it) when I get a new puppy. At least for the first year of life. So this is not just Kevin, this is alllll my dogs. Weather I rescue them or buy them. Do they like it, no, they trust me.
This is also why all the puppies that come to me see me every 2 weeks . We are building a life long relationship of trust.❤️

Welcome to the first 3 minutes of Kevin’s life every day. When he was a wee puppy dude he used to rip out of the kennel, run to the toy box, take inventory and commence to his best Tasmanian devil impersonation. Now, at his very ripe and distinguished age of ,well……….2. Lol…. He has to saunter out gingerly, hammy stretch crawl over to me where he needs 3+ minutes of lovens while rubbing his face and eye boogers all over me whilst I rub him from head to toe……….. more than once.
It really is my favorite time of day🥰
