Meet fellow farmer Tyrean “Heru” Lewis, Founder of Heru Urban Farming in St. Louis, MO.

Heru is a recipient of the Missouri Foundation For Health’s Food Visionary Award for good reason. He is helping make fresh produce access more equitable for St. Louis residents. According to Heru: our mission isn’t just about growing fruits and vegetables; it’s about sowing the seeds of empowerment and nourishing communities. We are your partners in revitalizing neighborhoods offering economic growth opportunities, and empowering individuals to thrive through food.

SCG would like to honor Heru for his contributions and partnership. It was a pleasure being able to show him around our own farm sites and meet our farm team this month!
