Hey everybody!

St. Louis is in a heat wave starting tomorrow! PLEEEEASE remember the pavement is scorching hot and can burn your pets’ paws! They can blister and peel. Walk early in the morning if you can.

Please remember to leave a fresh bowl of water out for the wildlife.

This little guy is only 13 weeks old! Cane is a Giant Schnauzer puppy. I love this breed but they a ALOT of dog. Highly intelligent. Cane will be a Search and Rescue dog! How neat is that! I very rarely give puppies haircuts on their first visit, but his Mom and Dad have been doing their homework with the suggestions I have given them. Cane was wonderful! He will be a big guy when full grown.

I gave a handstripping lesson to a new client who wants to learn how to strip her Norwich Terrier, Henry. I did most of the strip myself as she observed, but she said she learned so much! Of course she had her own tools in her hands on her own dog so she could follow my lead. I love helping you bond with your dog and get involved! Here is before and after of Henry. 😍

Earl and Paisley are Miniature Poodles which are spayed/neutered/vaccinated/microchipped/dog friendly/housebroken. Earl is a bit on the shy side and Paisley more outgoing. Hello everyone! With this big storm coming through, I wanted to keep all my dogs safe! I love them all!

Here are some tips to help keep your pet safe:

•Sounds silly, but you might want to leash them and go with them outside. Wind is very scary even to the best dog!
•Check fences and gates tomorrow BEFORE letting your dog outside.
•Please update name tag and microchip information with current phone number(s). You might want to put REWARD instead of your dog’s name. They are more inclined to return them, especially if they don’t know their name!
•Air tags are awesome! You can track your pet!
•If you do not leash your pet to let them outside, please AT LEAST supervise them! Again, wind is very scary!

Hello Everyone! We’ve been closed the last 2 days because of the snow.

My little one Buttercup won’t potty in the snow. So I shoveled the snow first then sprinkled straw in a potty area for her. Works like a charm! Plus it makes clean up a breeze!
