Our Story

In 2013, Arch City Dog Boarding was nothing but the dream of an overwhelmed social worker. Shelly was working a lot of hours and wasn’t happy with where she had landed after graduation. Additionally, for the first time ever, there were no dogs waiting for her at home! Being able to watch the dogs of friends and family members helped fill the void and creating a dog centered career became a new passion. With the help of some loving family members and amazing friends, Shelly was able to open Arch City Dog Boarding in September of 2016 as a fully licensed and insured dog boarding and daycare facility. Shelly lives on site and has been able to leave the social work field to focus all of her energy on creating the best environment possible for visiting pups. One of the biggest factors that sets Arch City Dog Sitting apart is our size- we only accept approximately 12 dogs at a time so they all get the personalized attention that they deserve! We’d love for you to join our pack!
