We had a busy weekend with traveling to many locations throughout the metropolitan St. Louis area. Our zoo was well received at Santa’s Village in Red Bud, IL, Whitfield School and the Cookie Festival at the Cherokee Business District.

Our llama boys Kimosabi and Cherokee shined at a wedding at Maison du Lac Wedding venue in Catawissa on Sunday.
It was a fun therapeutic day for students at Webster Grove University. I Know that some skipped class to spend the most time with our critters because they were there the entire three hours and some administrators pointed that out to me. Lol.
Our goats enjoyed the day with students at UMSL campus today. I thought it was quite an experience for our goats, Storm, Thunder, Lightning, Apache and our 6-month-old Jacob’s lamb Dakota.

What a fantastic llama birthday for a sweet girl today. There’s nothing like a llama parade!
Today was a llama themed birthday party for Elizabeth in Valley Park and it fantastic.
Our zoo spent the day at Independence Elementary Schools Vacation Station and the smiles left behind says it all.
Animals are therapeutic and should be loved as people are. Eagle Eye Alpaca and Llama Haven makes sure of that!

Our zoo traveled back to Red Bud, IL for a second event at their Santa’s Village where we went on a carriage ride before the event and had a great experience. Everyone at the event was a joy to be around. Hundreds of participants stood patiently to get a photograph with Kimosabi, our polish chicken Patti Labelle and to pet the other critters too.
Pierre just had to help this woman conquer her fear of (birds) actually a lace polish chicken at the fall festival at Barrington Elementary today.
Our zoo enjoyed the day at Pershing Elementary School’s Fall Festival today. Such a perfect day with perfect Fall weather.
