This year we have so much to be thankful for. But, there will never be enough words for the gratitude and thanks we have for each of YOU, our amazing staff, our selfless volunteers, our thoughtful helpers, our loving supporters, and our generous donors. Each of you make our mission possible and it is never lost on us. We are all grateful for you daily. We hope everyone has a beautiful day with friends, family, and furry family members. 💛

SHE'S BACK!
Thank you once again for your love and talent, Janet Schmittgens!
Annually she visits us after crocheting her heart out! Every baby we rescue this cold winter season will be warm and snuggly upon arrival!! We can’t begin to imagine how long it all took but we are so grateful! Blankets for the dogs, scarves and gloves for our staff! It was the best day.

Dear Stray Rescue Team,

I hope you’re all doing well. I just wanted to take a moment on Thanksgiving to reach out and express our deepest gratitude for everything you do—and especially for bringing Hashbrown into our lives.

From the moment we brought him home, he has filled our world with so much love, joy, and sweetness. We adore him more than we can put into words. Hashbrown has the gentlest spirit and the biggest heart; he truly is the sweetest boy ever. Every day with him feels like a gift, and we constantly find ourselves grateful for the care, compassion, and dedication your team put into giving him (and so many others) a second chance.

Thank you for the work you do, the lives you save, and the families you complete. Because of you, our home is happier, fuller, and filled with the unconditional love of one very special dog.

Meet Febreze, the biggest cuddle bug-couch potato-princess.
She’s looking for her forever home. She is such a love bug. She wants to have a toy in her mouth all the time when not giving kisses. She’s got a tail that probably makes her not great with very little kids since she wags it constantly and it’s like a whip 😆. Other than that, she’s just the perfect dog. Walks on a leash like a dream. Does not pull at all. Hasn’t barked. She's definitely timid around other dogs, but just needs introductions. She will go in her crate easily and has done very good alone in the house when we're not home.
She is house trained in her foster home and just wants a soft couch to sleep on. She has briefly met cats and was non-reactive. With proper, slow introductions she may do well coexisting with them. She’s begun to get the zoomies in the backyard, so a fenced in backyard would be great for her, but not required. She’s just a 60 pound lap dog who loves everyone she meets.
Febrile is a 2.5 year old female, 60 lbs.

Lara Lor-Van was lucky enough to get out of her crate (we are so overfull, we have dogs living in crates!) and go on a Rovernight.
This is what her Rovernight family had to say about her!
"Lara is the kindest, sweetest mama. We loved having her for a Rovernight—she was the most polite little houseguest. On walks, she kept checking back to make sure I was with her, and every time we paused, she would flop over for belly rubs and extra love.
Around the house, if I sat on the couch, she would hurry over and curl up right next to me (or sometimes right on top of me). She wanted to be close, give love, and soak up every bit of care she could get.
I am so thankful we could bring her home from the shelter for a few nights. She filled our home with joy, and I know she’ll do the same for her forever family. Whoever adopts this sweet girl will gain a loyal, gentle companion who just wants to love and be loved."
Lara is a 2 year old female, 46 pounds.

Pretty Boy is a 3.5 year old male, 80 pounds.

And don't forget, Pointe Drive In is very generously covering all adult dog/cat adoption fees (over 6 months old), but just until November 30th!
