👩‍🏫 Finding the Right Trainer:
• Ask for Recommendations from friends, coworkers, or your vet team.
• Check Certifications from trusted organizations like the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) or Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).
• Do Your Research and read reviews or watch training sessions.
• Meet the Trainer to ensure they’re the right fit for you and your dog.

🌟 Positive Training Tips:
• Reward good behavior with treats, praise, and love.
• Stay consistent with commands and routines.

🎉 New Year's Eve is just around the corner, and we want to ensure your beloved pets have a safe and happy celebration alongside you! 🥳

1️⃣ Communicate with Guests: Set your pet up for success by letting your guests know about your furry family member. Share any necessary information and request their cooperation in creating a pet-friendly environment.

2️⃣ Secure Meds: Keep all medications out of reach to prevent accidental ingestion.

3️⃣ Offer a Safe Retreat: Create a cozy and quiet space where your pet can retreat if they feel overwhelmed by the festivities. Stock it with their favorite toys and blankets.

4️⃣ Prevent Anxiety: If your pet is already on medication to manage anxiety, make sure you have enough on hand for the holiday and remember to administer it as prescribed. Additionally, consider offering other calming solutions, such as pheromone diffusers or soothing music, to further ease their stress during the festivities.

5️⃣ Be Aware of Decoration Hazards: Keep an eye on decorations like tinsel, ornaments, and candles, which can be tempting but dangerous for pets.

6️⃣ New Year's Noise: Fireworks and loud celebrations can be stressful for pets. Consider using white noise machines or closing windows and curtains to reduce noise and flashing lights.

With these tips, you can ensure that your four-legged family members have a happy and safe start to the New Year! 🐶🐱✨

🎄✨ "It's the most wonderful time of the year"... but it can also be filled with hidden hazards for our furry family members! 🐾 From tinsel to holiday treats, the season brings many potential risks for pets.

Keep your celebrations joyful and your pets safe with a few mindful precautions:
• Secure decorations, especially those within paw's reach.
• Skip the tinsel, limit access to Christmas tree water, and keep tempting treats out of sight.
• Ensure your space is free from toxic plants, and remember that cozy fire elements and electrical components should never be left unattended.

With a little extra care, your holiday can be festive and safe for all!

A great reminder to check that your pet's microchip information is current. Still need to have your pet microchipped? Give them the gift of a microchip this holiday season. 🎁

Schedule an appointment: https://buff.ly/323SjwO

Microchipping your pet lessens the threat of FAS levels rising if they ever get lost. It's a tiny, permanent ID that helps connect pets to their owners. Here are a few benefits of microchipping pets:

✅ Safety net: Microchipped pets are more likely to return home if lost, which is crucial in emergencies.

✅ Quick & relatively painless: Done during a routine vet visit or microchip clinic, this is an easy disaster prep step.

✅ Always updated: Keep your contact info current with a microchip registry like . This ensures a quick reunion in the event your pet is found.

Protect your pet with a microchip! For more information on microchipping, please check out the blog post from our friends at 24Petwatch
