Our sweet boy went HOME tonight! This is Andrea and for those of you that know me know that my fosters hold an extra special spot in my heart. It is a very emotional journey to see these babies grow, let out their personalities, make friends, and find a furever home. Tippy was by far our biggest challenge because he wasn’t one that you could just meet and become instant friends with. We had MANY people come and meet him and give up after 5 minutes because he was so scared. This couple came in every night this week and spent at minimum a hour with him to gain his trust. I knew they would be the perfect people for him because they were actually giving him a chance.
Thank you everyone who shared his posts and helped make this happen. He is our last pup of the year and man was this a hard one. I have cried multiple times today, happy tears of course, but still lol. I was like a mom getting ready to send my kid to over night camp. I packed his bag, wrote out a detailed letter to them about him, packed his food, bowls, and toys.
Shout out to Dominique Poma for putting up with me trying to get her to adopt all of my fosters because her Winnie was the best welcoming committee and made instant best friends with them all. If I had it my way she would have 5 more pups by now 😂
Shout out to Doug Maurer for adopting Archie and Cori Friesmuth for adopting Rocky. Y’all rock and it makes me so happy to see our boys at daycare.
Shout out to my amazing staff for all the extra help with these babies.
Shout out to Humane Society Of Camden County for letting us work with you to help get these babies a home.
Shout out kind of to Greg Andrews, would be a whole shout out if he would have let me adopt them all 😂
This was our last foster of the year, but we are not done! Stay tuned next year to watch the new adventures of our fosters.
My biggest wish for Tippy was a home for the holidays and my wish came true.
Ok I’m going to go back to ugly crying now.

🎄🐾 Hi there, hoomans! My name’s Tippy—or is it Good Boy? I hear that one a lot too. 🐕 Either way, I’m here to tell you all about me because I’m looking for my forever family for the holidays! Could that be you? 🤔🎅

📅 Here’s the scoop on me:
I’m 9.5 months old and have been in a shelter my whole life. They said my siblings and I were too scared and shy, but I’m really just a softie who needed time to trust hoomans.
Thanks to Madi’s Mutts and the Humane Society Of Camden County, I’ve had time to blossom! Now I love meeting people (even strangers!), and I let them pet me too.
I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines, weigh 38 pounds, and about 95% potty trained—so close, right?

🎓 Cool tricks I know:
I just learned to sit—check out my skills when you meet me!
Belly rubs? Oh yeah, I totally know how to ask for those now.
Call my name, and I’ll come running (and if you say "no," I stop whatever I’m doing like the good boy I am).

🚗 Bonus points:
I’m awesome on a leash and even better on car rides. Road trip, anyone?

🐕 What I’m looking for in my dream home:
I’d love to have another doggy sibling to play with and help me keep building confidence. If I’m your one-and-only pup, taking me to daycare a couple times a week would help me burn off my puppy energy and make new friends.

I’m the perfect mix of playful and chill, and snuggling is one of my favorite things. Imagine cuddling up with me by the fireplace this holiday season! 🎁✨

Siblings reunited 🤍 Georgia came in for a daycare interview today and immediately we knew she looked very familiar. After some digging around and finding out her and Tippy share the exact same birthday our suspicions were correct, they’re siblings! Right off the bat they initiated tail wags and play. We’re so glad they got to see each other again!🐾☺️
