People suck, people lie, people are heartless, people just don't give a s**t. This puppy is back home due all of the above. This will be my last puppy. So if anyone can promise her a good home let's talk. She used to be super confident and alfa. Now she is shaking and a chicken. Plus this heartless woman threatened to sue me because I didn't respond in two days. I was/am deal with a very tough loss. Karma will get hers.

They feel pain, fear, joy, and love.
And they remember — both kindness and cruelty.

Don’t treat them like objects. They deserve better.
Respect them. Listen to them. Be gentle.
Because in a horse’s eyes, there’s an entire world of emotion — you just have to be willing to see it.

Never forget those who can’t say what hurts.
But they will always show you — if you care enough to notice.

RIDING LESSONS FOR ALL AGES!

Spring is the perfect time to get into the saddle!
Have you always wanted to learn to ride? Is your child or grandchild totally horse crazy? Did you enjoy riding years ago and are looking to get back into riding? Looking for a fun and healthy new activity for yourself and your spouse or friend?

Lessons are sold as a set of 4 for $175. All lessons MUST be pre-paid to reserve a spot.
Lessons will cover safety, grooming, saddling and learning to ride proficiently at the walk and trot. Class size is limited and spots fill quickly!
These lessons are best suited for ages 8 and up. We also have pony lessons for ages 3-7!

Come and saddle up! Punchcards are the perfect alternative to leasing or perfect for that friend, spouse or child that wants to ride occasionally!

Punchcards give you a set number of “rides” that you can use for up to a year from purchase or until you use up your number of rides.

We supply the horse, grooming tools and tack. We do ask that you are able to saddle and bridle properly and be able to ride independently.

We also lease individual horses out per month includes board and tack.

North Star Stable is a teaching and leasing stable located 35 minutes from Mpls/St Paul in Stacy MN. Lessons are available for all ages!

This post is something I have very strong feelings about...
TURN OUT!!!!
Turn your damn horses outside!!!! They were not made to live in your 12x12 stalls for 23 hours a day!
Do you realize how important mental health is for a horse? Do you realize you are creating other issues keeping your horses stalled up all the time?
I cringe when I hear and see horses being stuck in stalls their whole lives!
I'm not saying your horse shouldn't come in a stall. But they don't need to live in that stall their entire life.
Don't want your horse getting dirty??? Get over it... it's part of owning a horse. It's part of them being happy and having fun! They make water and hoses and brushes everyday -- They will clean up if you put a little of your own elbow grease into it.
Afraid to turn them out because you spent too much money on the horse.... That's not your horses fault. Get insurance if you are concerned. Make sure you have safe turnout. But good grief, stop torturing your horse.
This filthy, muddy horse in this picture is HAPPY, HEALTHY, and he gives me his all when I ask for it!
