Plutos first time using his nose outside we normally do this inside but it’s time to push the limits a bit. it was about 2 min before he actually found it. Does your dog get super stressed from getting its nails cut?
This hasn’t been an easy process Pluto was NOT fond of his feet being touched let alone nails being trimmed but by using some of his skills from training I’ve been able to make the process as least stressfull for him as possible he still pulls his paw away and is still not totally calm but is no where near as stressed as he once was. If your dog gets super worked up and stressed out by getting their nails trimmed reach out to me and ask me how we can apply training to make the experience less stressfull for them.

One thing I love about the kennel/ place command is it’s a very versatile command and can be used for just about any obeject you want your dog to go into or onto from a towel on floor to some picnic tables at the park or even into the back seat of your car!

This is Mercedes a 3 year old GSD and has been giving her owners a hard time with chasing the cats so we’ve been working on her holding her place with minor distractions and leading up to the cat being brought in with minor distractions going on (the kids usually great help with distracting her but got a little camera shy 🤣) she still has a lot of work to do before this becomes consistent and solid In real life situations but she’s making great progress! It would normally be your typical dog and cat chase threw the house before the training we’ve done
Pluto has been feeling he can ignore me when he gets in play mode so we worked on that with him some today and then tested him with his tennis balls recalling him back mid fetch
Been teaching Pluto his left from his rights still not super solid and needs hand signals still but we’re almost there!
