Gunner’s First Duck Hunt! 🦆.

Gunner is living his best life down in Texas with his owner. This morning, he retrieved 12 birds on his very first duck hunt!!!!🔥🦆🔥🦆

Gunner went through our basic gun dog program, and he was an absolute thrill to train. Always ready to go, always eager to please – we knew he was destined for days like this! So proud to see him out there doing what he loves.

We’re about to kick off our journey to Missouri for the HRC International Grand! A huge thank you to all our incredible clients for believing in us and trusting us with your pups. These dogs have been putting in the hard work day in and day out, and no matter the outcome at the Grand, I couldn’t be prouder of them.

This lifestyle we live isn’t easy, You have to be a constant student of the game.Always learning, each dog is different, each dog response differently to things.

We had a little bee problem on an island at one of our training ponds, the day before this I was fortunate enough to get stung 7 times in the leg. So the next day I went a little bit more prepared.

We made our way up north to Factoryville,PA to run Retriever Club of Northeast Pennsylvania spring hunt test.

We are super proud of all the dogs and how well they have been doing. It’s been a long couple months but we wouldn’t trade it for the world, the places we get to see and the new friendships we make at these events will last forever.

Thank you to all the volunteers/ members of the club and the judge for spending Father’s Day at the hunt test, without everyone involved these test would not be possible.

Graduation for Miss Millie girl🔥🔥🔥

Millie completed our basic gun dog program and is headed back to Georgia. Funny story how .addison75 and I meet. I was headed to Florida 2 years ago for a seminar and at about 2am in the morning at the famous Buc-ee’s gas station I meet Millie’s owner pumping gas. Long story short 1 year later he’s bought a pup and sent her to virginia. You never know who you will cross paths with in this world and the people you will meet on your journey.

Thank you .addison75 for trusting us with your sweet Millie, she’s a talented young dog with bright future, can’t wait to see her in the duck blind this year. The friendship you build in this world last forever, Evan and his family are the most down to earth and sweetest people you will ever meet.

The crew and I went up north this past weekend to the Keystone Retriever Club hunt test. The crew went 6/8 for the weekend, we are so proud of all the hard work these pups have been putting in.

Thank you Keystone Retriever Club for putting on a fantastic hunt test this weekend. Thank you to all the members and volunteers that make these weekends possible for all the doggies and handlers that run them.

Was well organized, well ran, and everyone involved in that club made the test run so smoothly. Thanks to the judges for volunteering your time to judge this weekend and also all the works/ bird throwers, without everyone involved these test wouldn’t be possible.

Yesterday session with Elsa was learning slip lead pressure. This morning we added the retrieve into the mix. She is understanding what we are asking of her.

Not everything is perfect in dog training, you will have bad days and good days. At the end of the day they are dogs not robots. Just stay focused and patient with them. There are no emotions in dog training, nothing says you can’t stop the session and come back to it later.

🐾 This weekend, the gang and I ventured to New Jersey for our first HRC test of the season! A huge shoutout to our incredible clients for their unwavering support. The results? A remarkable 20/23 success rate! I couldn't be prouder of our diligent pups and their tireless dedication. Here's to many more triumphs ahead! 🎉

Love getting videos from past clients, Dagny is still killing it. Has been 7months since she was in for our obedience program.
