We need your help! Several kittens were found recently. They were found staggering in the heat! They are recuperating nicely but we need help!

Right now our immediate need is for Purina One Kitten Food (see photo) but we will accept anything that you can help us with!

We also have an appointment on August 9 to have 4 the kitties (kitten’s moms and 1 daddy.)

Volunteer Needed! I have 3 cat trees and a bag of canned cat food that needs a ride to the Sanctuary. Too much for my little truck. An open bed truck would be best, or a large cargo van might work. Located in North Stafford and needs to go to Spotsylvania.

Before you surrender your pet UNDERSTAND what a no kill shelter is. Surrendered pets are euthanized FIRST as they do not require a 10 day hold.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! We have NO funds and are in desperate need of food. Could you help us out with a bag of food or a donation. No amount is too small.

The kitties favorite food is Purina Cat Chow in the blue bag but we would appreciate any dry or canned food. YES we need kitten food too!

We need your help!!!

A beautiful back cat named Raven was adopted from Shadow Cats 5 years ago. Her owners recently adopted a younger cat and decided they no longer want Raven. Rather than bring her back to us they took her to Stafford County Animal Shelter, and this was after they were told we would take her back!!

We desperately need someone to pick her up from the shelter tomorrow (Thursday) when they reopen and foster her! She’s a 9 year old beauty (sorry we have no pics)! Please, can anyone help?

Have you ever wanted to foster some kittens? Cari found 5 little kittens last night but left the mom because she was nursing. We think there may be another baby or 2. She is a very young tiny mom but she had 5 precious kittens. They all 5 appear to be a Mane C**n mix.

10 million pets are lost in America every year. Chip Your Pet Month is celebrated every May and is meant to encourage microchipping so pets can be quickly found and reunited with their owners.

Microchipping your pet is quick and painless, and only needs to be done once in a pet’s lifetime. Having your pet chipped boosts your odds of reuniting with them.

The Stafford County Animal Shelter is offering half price microchips for the month of May. Simply bring your pet into the shelter anytime during business hours. Microchips are $10!

Once chipped, be sure to keep your contact information up to date.

Cari is looking for a foster home for four kittens who are approximately five weeks old. Two are eating Royal Canin mother & Baby dry food & two are drinking KMR formula & will be transitioning to wet & dry food soon.

Wet & dry food will be provided. The kittens need to be held & socialized to prepare them for adoption. Vet care will be provided by SCA.
