We have decided to part with 5 Easter Egger pullets and a Cream Legbar cockerel. The 5 girls are 26 weeks and laying green eggs. The cockerel is about 7 months old.

We also have 10 Austra White pullets that are 23 weeks old. They should start laying in the next couple of weeks.

We have a whole mess of 10 week old pullets! Rhode Island Reds, Barred Rocks, Production Reds, White Leghorns, Blue Stars, and Silver Laced Wyandottes.

Well, moving week is FINALLY HERE!!!

Well, the farm move seems to have turned a corner!

We finally have a closing date (well, it’s our 5th one), that I think may actually be the one! Hopefully we will be signing papers on Thursday, November 21st.

The actual move will have to wait to start the following week due to previous commitments.

For now, we are looking to “reopen” December 1, 2024. We will be getting incubators loaded up with whatever eggs the girls will give us through the winter. We still have 10 AustraWhite pullets that are 16 weeks old. We will have some White Leghorns, Blue Stars, Black Australorps, Rhode Island Reds, and Silver Laced Wyandotte pullets ready in January.

Well, our move continues to be postponed. We are trying to be positive, but the delay is becoming problematic for us. We still have not be able to get any eggs incubated. That is going to put us behind in having layers ready Spring. We have also had to delay pullet orders, so we will be a little late in having grow out offerings in the Spring.
Please continue to be patient as are waiting for all the paperwork to be completed and submited. 
Even though it will be delayed, we are planning to have some amazing birds to offer you this Spring!

Just watching this pretty boy tonight. I have 3 or 4 Ameraucana cockerels that are looking pretty promising. I have been putting off breeding pen evaluations until the move. The ones that don’t make the Ameraucana pen will go to make some really pretty Easter Egger babies!

Well, more delays in the move! I don’t pretend to understand the real estate world, but apparently there was a miscommunication with the title company…. I don’t know at this point what the itinerary looks like!

What I do know is that we will not have any eggs incubating or chicks growing out until we get moved. This will really show up December - March as we won’t have a lot of inventory during that time.

We do have a few AustraWhite pullets that are 11 weeks old.

If you are wanting started pullets, you can place those orders anytime so we can get those started growing out for Spring.
We need the following information:
Breed, desired age at pick-up, number wanted, and desired gender (pullet, cockerel, or straight run). Pre-orders for started pullets require 10% down.

Thank you all for your patience as we are preparing for a wonderful transition! The farm move is scheduled for the weekend of October 11th. We will need a couple of weeks to get situated, then we will start posting availability!

We will start incubating then as well. We will be offering Paducah Verdes (our s*x-linked Easter Eggers with a possibility of Olive Eggers), Easter Eggers, and a very limited number of BBS Orpingtons and English Buff Orpingtons.

We will have some started pullets available as well.

In the Spring, we are hoping to add Silver Laced Orpingtons, Chocolate Laced Orpingtons, English BBS Orpingtons, Isabel Orpingtons, Tolbunt Polish, Rhode Island Reds, Black Ameraucana and BBS Ameraucana (bred with SOP in mind- NOT Americana/Easter Eggers), Exhibition and Better-than-backyard Buff Orpingtons, Paducah Negras (black s*x link production) and of course, Paducah Azules (blue/black s*x link production).

We are overwhelmed in gratitude for the faithfulness of God and His hand in each step of our endeavor!
