**Happy Tail: George**

Our sweet George has found his happily ever after! He now has an amazing forever home with the perfect family, a new fur sister to play with, and a fenced yard to enjoy all the zoomies his heart desires. He’s already settling in beautifully and is going to be so loved and spoiled – exactly what he deserves!

**Dutch Update!**

Our sweet boy Dutch is settling into foster life like a champ! He’s been soaking up all the love, enjoying cozy naps, tasty treats, and plenty of playtime. Dutch is such a gentle soul—he bonds quickly with his people and loves nothing more than being part of the action (or snuggling up for some quiet time).

He went back to the vet this week, and we’re thrilled to share that his skin is healing beautifully! There are just a couple of small patches of hairless areas left, and overall he’s looking and feeling so much better. He’s continuing his medicated baths like a trooper and we’re working on getting him caught up on vaccines too.

We’re so proud of how far he’s come already! Stay tuned for more updates as we get to know him better—and keep your eyes peeled, because this handsome guy will be looking for his forever family soon!

**Happy Tail: Rhett’s New Beginning!**

Our sweet boy Rhett has found his forever home—and it's one filled with love, snuggles, and familiar faces! He’s been adopted by wonderful repeat adopters who have once again opened their hearts and home to a PPR pup.

From the moment they met Rhett, it was clear he was already loved. Now, he's settling in beautifully, being spoiled (as he deserves!), and living his best life.

We’re so happy for Rhett and so grateful to Brenda and Tom for choosing to adopt again. Thank you for giving him the incredible life every dog dreams of!

**Meet Croissant – Our Sweetest Little Girl!**

We cannot believe this adorable girl is still waiting for her forever home!

Croissant is a 1-year-old beauty who was found as a stray and has been doing wonderfully at her foster home. She’s incredibly sweet, loves attention, and has the cutest little personality that will melt your heart. Whether she’s curled up in a cozy spot or trotting around the house with curiosity, Croissant brings a gentle, calming presence wherever she goes.

She does well with kids & dogs and takes everything in stride! While she hasn’t met any other cats yet, we believe she’ll adjust well with proper introductions—she’s just that easygoing.

Croissant has been patiently waiting for her perfect match, and while we love having her in foster care, this girl *deserves* a forever family of her own.

**Happy Tail: Miss Kitty's Fairy Tale Ending!**

After over three long years in foster care, our sassy, spunky queen Miss Kitty has FINALLY found her forever castle—and it was worth every minute of the wait!

This independent diva spent years watching other pets come and go, patiently holding out for the *just right* humans who would understand her quirks, appreciate her fiery personality, and love her on her terms. That perfect match finally arrived and they saw Miss Kitty not just for who she is—but for the queen she’s always been!

Now she’s ruling her kingdom exactly the way she likes it: with plenty of cozy spots to nap, windows to bird-watch from, and humans who dote on her with endless love and respect for her boundaries. She’s already made herself at home and is absolutely thriving—spoiled, adored, and finally, *finally* home.

Thank you, Nichole and Daniel, for opening your hearts and home to this very special girl. Miss Kitty waited a long time for you—and it’s clear now she was just waiting for *you*.

Meet **Mimi**!

This adorable French Bulldog/Pug mix came to us from our local shelter, and is as playful as they come! She loves to chase toys and is always ready to make friends with other dogs.

Mimi is doing great with her potty training and settling in quickly with her foster family—she’s already handing out kisses like a pro! While she’s still getting used to her new surroundings, her sweet and spunky personality is starting to shine through more each day.

We’re loving getting to know this little lovebug and can’t wait to help her find the perfect forever home. Stay tuned—Mimi will be ready for adoption soon!

**Mama Suzy & Her Sweet Trio Update!**

Mama Suzy and her babies are doing AMAZING! These little nuggets are growing fast, gaining weight steadily, and nursing like champs thanks to their supermom (and amazing foster family monitoring them constantly).

We’ve got two handsome boys—Onyx and Coal—and one gorgeous girl, Sable. We can't wait until their eyes start to open… they're already soooo cute, it’s hard to imagine them getting any cuter!

**PPR is Celebrating Animal Control Appreciation Week!**

This week, we’re taking a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible work of Animal Control Officers (ACOs). At Project Precious Rescue, we are so proud of the strong partnerships we’ve built with our local shelters and ACOs over the years.

These dedicated individuals are on the front lines every day—protecting animals, advocating for their well-being, and stepping in when no one else can. Whether it’s rescuing an injured stray, reuniting a lost pet with their family, or helping animals find a second chance through rescue, they go above and beyond in ways the public often doesn’t see.

We are endlessly grateful for their support, collaboration, and compassion. Their tireless work makes our mission possible.

**Happy Tail: Mira!**

Sweet Mira captured so many hearts and it’s no surprise—this girl was *very* popular and had lots of interest! We’re thrilled to share that she’s found her perfect forever home!

From the moment Moji arrived in foster care, it was clear he was something special. Sweet, snuggly, and full of joy, he made himself right at home with his foster mom, Whitney—who also happens to be a dedicated member of the PPR team. It didn’t take long for everyone to realize Moji had already found his forever.

Moji fit in perfectly with the pack from day one, and it was obvious he had found exactly where he belonged. He’s now part of an amazing family who loves him dearly and will make sure he has the absolute best life—filled with cuddles, playtime, and all the love he deserves.

We met this sweet older lady at the shelter yesterday and can't believe she has not found a forever family yet!

Mia is dog friendly and a petite doggie!
Sadly her owner passed so she's been at the shelter ever since.

**Meet Chesney!**
This 1-year-old, 10 lb Chiweenie is a big goofball in a small package! With his wild child spirit and impressive agility, Chesney is known to leap into laps, onto couches, and even over gates with ease. He’s a fun, playful guy who brings a lot of personality to the party—but also knows how to chill.

Chesney is the perfect mix of active and relaxed: he’s happy to snuggle up with you or entertain himself with a bone or his doggy friends. He’s not a huge barker, but he’s probably not the best fit for apartment living - he prefers a single family home with a yard! Chesney is currently working on his house training and doing great with a consistent routine. He is great with other dogs, cats and kids!

Rhett is a spunky and sweet 1-year-old 10lb Chiweenie with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging! While he might be a little shy when first meeting new people, he warms up quickly and becomes your loyal little shadow in no time.

This affectionate guy absolutely adores being with his people—he’s happiest following you around the house, curling up in your lap, or showering you with kisses. He gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and even kids making him a great fit for all kinds of families.

Rhett is doing great in his crate and is making steady progress with house training. He’s not much of a barker and is just an all-around happy, easygoing pup. If you're looking for a lovable companion who’s equal parts cuddlebug and sidekick, Rhett might just be your perfect match!
