🚨 **MILO UPDATE** 🚨
We’re heartbroken to share that Milo’s X-rays revealed a fracture of both his radius and ulna—and even more devastating, this injury is chronic. Once our vet removed the makeshift splint made of cardboard and duct tape, it became clear that poor Milo’s leg has been swollen and left untreated for weeks. This didn’t just happen a few days ago… this sweet pup has been suffering in silence for far too long, without any vet care.
Despite the heartbreaking reality, there’s hope. Our surgeon believes she can repair the leg, but it won’t be easy—or cheap. We’re faced with two options:
🦴Surgical repair – approximately $6,000
✂️Amputation – approximately $2,000
We’ve already started Milo on pain meds and placed his leg in a proper splint to keep him as comfortable as possible. Because the injury is old, surgery isn’t emergent—but the sooner we can raise the funds, the sooner we can give Milo the relief and future he deserves.
If we can't raise the full amount for the repair, we will have to move forward with amputation. He’ll adapt and live a happy life as a tripod—but if there’s a chance we can save his leg and give him a full, pain-free future, we want to try. And we need your help.

We are also in need of an immediate foster home for Milo while he rests and recovers. He's a super sweet boy, so if you have a little extra space in your heart and home, apply to foster at www.pprct.org.
Milo didn’t deserve this, but he does deserve a chance. Thank you for helping us fight for him. 🐾💔
