and applaud the work of Laurie Hollywood, previous Director of Stamford Animal Care & Control. She was the voice of the homeless pets at the Shelter and found homes for thousands of these pets through her love, compassion and dedication to each and every one of them.

Our sweet Puddles (14 yrs old) & Midnight (10 yrs old) are ready for their forever home and we have a bundle deal of love that you just can't resist.

Adoption fee's covered!!!!!

Puddles & Midnight are a bonded pair and must go to a home together. They're both spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines & microchipped. Puddles and Midnight absolutely adore each other and will thrive in a home together.

Our Story

STAMFORD ANIMAL FRIENDS & ADVOCATES began as Volunteers, Adopters and Supporters of the Stamford Animal Shelter (located at 201 Magee Avenue in Stamford CT). We continue to support and be the voice of the many homeless pets in Stamford and surrounding areas of CT. Our goal is to make sure they each have a chance - because EACH PET IS IMPORTANT AND DESERVES THE RIGHT TO LIVE. We also fully support and applaud the work of Laurie Hollywood, previous Director of Stamford Animal Care & Control. She was the voice of the homeless pets at the Shelter and found homes for thousands of these pets through her love, compassion and dedication to each and every one of them. Through her unique ability to educate and connect, and skilled management style, Laurie won the respect of the City of Stamford residents over her 9-year career.

This page is maintained in honor of Laurie Hollywood. She will always be our Stamford Animal Care and Control leader.
