Welcome to HHR Tony‼️

Today we pulled this adorable six month old Bulldog puppy that was found as a stray by Stamford Animal Control & Care Center
Tony is a very sweet boy who’s recovering from mange (non contagious) and is being fostered with another Bulldog. We are so happy that we were able to find an accomplished foster who is also a vet tech that will set him up for success. We will be posting more information and photos of Tony as we get to know him better. He will be up for adoption shortly. Thank you

Calling all RESCUES!!!

We have so many great dogs that just need a fresh start out of the shelter. The shelter is no place for a dog to thrive. Some accept that this is home(for now) and do well and others really struggle. We have some long-timers that really need your help. Nina, Haze, Pinky, Rylo & Kody are all great dogs that have been waiting for their forever home.

ALL PULL FEE’S ARE WAIVED!

Meet Linus, Pig-Pen & Lucy 🥰

These 3 kittens are about 4 months old and in need of a special home. Linus, Pig-Pen and Lucy suffer from neurological issues and need an experienced owner. They are super sweet kittens that love to cuddle and really enjoy playing.

Linus, Pig-Pen & Lucy will live a normal life but will need some assistance along the way.

Our sweet Puddles (14 yrs old) & Midnight (10 yrs old) are ready for their forever home and we have a bundle deal of love that you just can't resist.

Puddles & Midnight are a bonded pair and must go to a home together. They're both spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines & microchipped. Puddles and Midnight absolutely adore each other and will thrive in a home together.

Meet Oscar 🐾💚 Oscar is a 4 year old male and is ready for his forever home! Oscar is a sweet boy, he is shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly. He is nonreactive when passing by the other dogs here at the shelter, he may be open to having a brother or sister. Oscar takes treats gently and even knows sit. He seems to be house broken but in a shelter environment it is hard to tell. If you are interested in adopting Oscar please fill out an application online or stop by our shelter to meet him!

Zach is available for adoption 🐾🏡🤍 He is the perfect example of never judge a book by its cover. When Zach first arrived at our shelter he was very nervous and wouldn't let anyone near him. After a little time and some much needed TLC, Zach has come around and is now a playful pup. Zach is a 3 year old Dutch Shepherd and needs an owner who is familiar with the breed and will take the time to understand his needs of exercising, socializing, and training. We found this handsome kitty with a nasty infection in his right eye. Unfortunately he was never claimed. The good news is his eye is getting better, and he’s now available for adoption 🥰 We believe he’s about 2 years old! So far he’s a pretty mellow cat 🐈 he loves treats, getting brushed and hanging out with someone. If you’re interested fill out the application 😊
