An update to a story we brought to you last week, a local equine group put their resources together to help those impacted by Helene.

Wow…I don’t even know what to say! This morning we started our journey to North Carolina. While we were on the interstate we had a white van pull up next to us waving and honking telling us to pull over at the next stop. When we pulled over a man and his 7 year old son got out of their van and handed us an envelope, thanked us for what we were doing and continued on their way. When we got back in the truck I opened the envelope to find $500 along with $6 from the son. What a blessing! We are so incredibly thankful and speechless from what just happened. The name on the envelope was Cornerstone, we believe that they are a Christian band and would love it if we could somehow get in contact with them!! We need to blow this up!!

We want to thank everyone who has donated supplies so far! We are leaving on Sunday to bring a trailer load of supplies to North Carolina. We are still in need of more donations tho!

We are accepting donations to take to people in need who were impacted by the hurricane. We have a 28ft trailer that we are hoping to fill up with donations. Things like:

Summer camp was a hit this past week! It was all smiles the whole week! Campers rode twice a day, they even went on a few trail rides, learned how to care for horses, painted horses, learned how to rope, made crafts, and played lots of fun games!! They all loved the slip and slide so much that they wanted to do it everyday 😂

I think it’s safe to say that we will be doing many more camps in the future! ⛺️
