Still Pond Farm Stables

We are a retirement/trail riding farm located 20 minutes from Charlottesville, VA, and the Blue Ridge Equine Clinic. Designed by the famous landscape architects Wolfgang Oehme and James van Sweden, the farm and its paddocks are built to harmonize with nature while wooded horse trails frame the circumference of the property. Four large paddocks with stunning mountain vistas grace the farm. Paddocks

include automatic waterers, spacious run-in sheds, and are outlined by trees providing a cool canopy of shade in the hot Virginia summer days. Two dry lots are shaded from the sun. Our barn includes a heated tack room, hot/cold indoor wash bay, and an outdoor wash bay. Small round pen, and a 60ft round pen available to exercise your horse, and nicely shaded from the summer sun. All boarders have access to well-maintained trails. Built to exercise your horse or for a light stroll, our trails vary in length and terrain. Creeks, pastures, meadows, ponds, and the Blue Ridge Mountains are a few of the sites to experience while riding our trails.
