I have reduced my herd significantly to only 26 animals currently. But I started my winter breeding a couple weeks ago and I’m up to 6 does bred so far!

ARS Ziggy went back to Allyse’s house temporarily to produce some pretty babies for her!

Nationals will be here sooner than we think! On that note I have my 2 kennels booked to/from MR nationals ↔️ MN and will be offering transport.

It’s mid November here in Minnesota and it’s still “warm” enough to pressure wash cages. I wish the days stayed lighter longer but I can’t complain with this weather!

This past year has been tough. I’ve been teetering on the decision of selling out for months. BUT a couple weeks ago I found the PERFECT shed. Anyone that knows me knows I’m tight with my money… but I couldn’t pass this deal up. I didn’t want to jinx anything until I got it home. But today was spent hauling my new shed home with my new truck. Everything went according to plan and some final touches will be put on it before winter. I’m looking forward to seeing you all at spring shows!

I decided at 10am this morning that I’d try to make it in time for show 3 of the MN State Convention Weekend show. I sadly missed out yesterday because of work. I showed up just in time as they were judging selfs.

I don’t remember the last time I had a booted but I love the heavy blanket patterns. Whenever someone wants a pet I always recommend a buck as they’re normally the friendliest. This cute little guy went to Mondo’s Pet Depot here in Cambridge, Minnesota.

Why did this curse babies have to turn to be this good 😫 Oh well I promised my good friend Constance, the tort when they first showed their color. This “ugly” chocolate tort buck is moving to Washington.

On another note I got all the rabbits for the sales list photographed today so look for a post this evening. People that previously messaged me regarding interest will get first opportunity.

It feels weird to not have posted on here for a few weeks so I’ll give a general update of my other hobby. In the summer I take the season off of showing rabbits and race dirt track be**er cars. I love the adrenaline rush and the excitement! Plus being good at it and winning checks + trophies isn’t a bad thing either. 😋

This past weekend I had 2 cars on the track. With my Pontiac I won 1st out of 16 and 1st out of 11! One of my friends drove my Lincoln and a sadly that car didn’t fair as well. While racing the big trucks, a truck hit the jump and ended up rolling on rear of the car. Don’t worry everyone was fine!

I have a few litters coming up I’m excited about but probably not much more for updates for a while!

I just got home from a wonderful trip in Oregon with my mom! A trip obviously wouldn’t be complete without meeting up with rabbit people! Thank you Joe for your wonderful hospitality and for setting up a lovely dinner! Allyse, Bre, and Brett flew all the way to the west coast just to see me. 😉🤣

First thing I did after greeting my dogs and my dad I went out to the barn! And I had a few great surprises waiting for me! 🤩

The (ARS Bellatrix x Malibu DD) babies have their eyes open! SOO CUTE!

I had FULL SIBLINGS to 8 Second Ride born!

And a repeat litter out GC Maple Ridge 8 Second Ride x ARS MenInBlack. Same cross as 8 Million Dollar Bull!

Now I’m off to bed 😴😴😴

I just realized I have never posted a finished picture of the new shed. The rabbits got moved in back at the end of march. (Ignore the dirty floor it’s raining here in MN)

I’m always so paranoid about the smell so I use a combination of stall dry, absorbing horse pellets, and extra fine shavings. The exhaust fan has made a huge difference as well!

Most people think I have more rabbits than I actually do. I currently only have 37 holes but am in the process of finishing another shed for the brood animals.

This week has been spent sanitizing water bottles, j-feeders, and pressure washing cages. I’m so thankful to have a neighbor that’s always willing to care for my rabbits when I’m gone.

With that being said my mom and I are off to Oregon today for a week long vacation!

My mom and I made the short trip to Stillwater today. It was a fun, relaxed show and a great way to end my spring/ early summer show season. My next show probably won’t be till September! I’ll be busy with car racing the rest of the summer!

I didn’t get much for pictures today as I was on my phone booking flights and a rental car. My mom and I will be going to Bend, Oregon to stay at Joe Kim’s vacation home! Thank you so much Joe! We are soooo excited!

Ziggy is starting to break coat so she will be getting bred soon. My two juniors that won in the 2nd show are sired by an ARS buck as well!Thank you again Allyse for such awesome animals!
