We are waiting one more week to check Anastasia to see if "hopefully" she got bred by Beamer and is pregnant. If not I guess we will have to try another male from a friend. Also, Nova was just in season again, but not so sure he was able to actually breed her---- only time will tell. We are very hopeful that we will get some kittens, but there are times when it just doesn't happen. We have on rare occasion had this happen. We usually get about 4 litters a year, but not always. I know some of you are anxious to see babies as well as we are. Believe me, we are trying, and our girls have been cooperative, but we are working with a novice male who just can't seem to hit the target. Hopefully he has managed to do so now----- but it is a waiting game for all of us. It's going to take patience for all of us I guess!! Thank you all for sticking with us!!

I realize that it's been too long since I posted. I was hoping to make an expected litter announcement, or birth announcement, but so far no luck. Beamer is young and inexperienced, but he has been trying with the girls. We don't know if he doesn't hit the target or if there's a different problem, but I have another plan to get at least one or two girls bred ------ but they need to come back in season first!! LOL!! We miss having babies! Our last litter was last fall. I am hoping that I will have good news soon.

Ariel has found her forever home now and we are very happy for her. She will be loved and will flourish there. It will a while before we have any adults available, but we hope we are expecting kittens. We should know in another week. We will keep you posted ♥

Ariel is still available to the right home. She is shy at first, but warms up. She will do well as an only cat or with one other cat, but not a crowd. She will be very sweet and loving and gives kisses once she settles in. She is spayed and fully vaccinated. Anyone interested should private message me from this page.

We have had Celeste and Ariel spayed and they are looking for their forever homes now. Celeste is more outgoing and very sweet. She will love to sleep on your lap or on your bed. Ariel is a bit less outgoing, but once she realizes no one is going to hurt her and she realizes she also is very sweet and loves to give kisses and be petted and will also sleep on your lap. She will just take a bit longer to adjust and we prefer a one cat home for her or she would likely be okay to go with Celeste. They must be indoor only pets. They have been spayed and updated on their shots and are ready anytime. Anyone interested please send me a PM.

Just want to say hello to everyone so you know I haven't forgotten you all. We do not expect any kittens yet for 2024, but I am sure that given time we will get someone bred and have some rambunctious babies in the house. Meantime we are spaying 2 of our females on February 7th and will have them available for adoption once they are healed and doing well. They will also be updated on vaccinations. Photos and descriptions will be forthcoming after their surgery. Here's wishing you all a fabulous day! Stay safe in this wintery weather!!

Hello Everyone!! We finally managed to get some photos of the litter from Celeste and GhostRider!! Our granddaughter, Eryn, came and helped us get photos. These kittens will be ready to go in mid December!! I will edit each photo once I have finished this post and describe each kitten to you all. The litter was born September 2nd and I am a little behind the 8 ball due to issues with my left knee which are ongoing, so please bear with me. I will do the best I can going forward.

I hope to take new photos tomorrow of the last litter from Celeste and GhostRider and will post them as soon as I can, hopefully the same day!! They are at a really cute age 5.5 weeks old!! So much fun to watch them play! They really make me smile!! Stay tuned for photos!!

Introducing Suncoon Celeste of Le Beau Minu and Atlastcats GhostRider's new litter born September 2nd, 2023. They are a week old today and this is the first photo of the litter. There will be more to come in coming weeks.

On September 2nd Suncoon Celeste delivered 5 beautiful babies sired by Atlastcats GhostRider. We have three silvers and two reds (red silvers?). I know the red silvers are boys and I think at least one of the black silvers is a boy. We have 2 higher whites and 2 with no white and 1 with low white. They are all doing well and gaining at this time. Pictures to come in a week or so.

We have been pretty busy lately so I haven't been on here. First we had an emergency with Shelly who needed a blood transfusion and emergency spay due to a uterine torsion. Then sadly we lost our old girl, Kissy. Then Tom's sister's funeral (she passed last fall, but cemetery was closed for winter), so it's been one thing after another. Anyway ---- we have still got a silver classic tabby girl available to a proper forever pet home. She is beautiful and will make a wonderful pet. I will add a photo or two that I took last week. I hope everyone enjoys their evening!!

Well, it's been a rough couple of days, but we got through it and our Shelly is doing much better now even though we have to watch carefully for a couple of days. Thank you to all of our friends who prayed for her and to all the vets who helped her too. Now to go on to other matters. Our kittens are getting bigger and will soon be ready to leave us and we still have two girls available. I will attach their photos to this post. Both are females and will be available to the right homes. One silver classic tabby and one silver mackerel tabby with white.

Good evening, It's about time I share some photos of our most recent kittens. These babies are out of TGC Le beau Minu Magnificent Mazie and Atlastcats GhostRider. They were born April 12th. I will go in and edit a description of each kitten after I get this post finished. I know many of you have been waiting for photos. I usually do a better job of getting photos on my page but I had a problem with FB for a bit and we have also been busy with work and company and kittens!! I'll look forward to reading any comments and answering any questions!! I hope you enjoy them.

Good morning everyone!! Just to update you all we will post new photos this coming weekend which for me is Sunday or Monday. The kittens are growing well. Hopefully my friend will come this weekend and choose her boy and then I will know what I have available. Ariel has just one baby girl which we will keep. Ember has one baby boy, a cream mackerel tabby with white that will probably be available when old enough. Time will tell. We wish you all a lovely day.

I am trying to post phots of Mazie and Rider's kittens. They were born April 12th and are 6 weeks old. We have 3 boys and 3 girls. I will also edit the photos to describe each kitten --- that is if I can get them posted. I already tried once---- wish me luck!!

Good evening everyone!! I am trying this because Facebook had shut my page down, but someone was able to get on it last night and sent me a message. I guess they thought my hobby was something else. I assure you all, it is a HOBBY!! I love my cats and I like to show them and I like to share them with everyone by photos!! Right now my good camera is not working so I can only use my phone which makes it harder for me to share photos. Our kittens are getting so cute now and almost ready to start learning to eat and use the litter box. I will either get my camera working or buy a new one , hopefully next week so I can get some decent photos!! I hope everyone is able to see this post and will hang in there with me. Good morning on this bright sunny day after the "big one" snow storm!! I hope everyone managed to get dug out okay. We did with the help of our good neighbor and my oldest son. Today is a day to get over the aches and pains caused from shoveling and such so here I am to make a 🐱‍👓 announcement. Our beautiful TICA Triple Grand Champion Le Beau Minu Magnificent Mazie is pregnant by Atlastcats GhostRider!! We are very excited about this breeding. She is due to deliver her babies on or about April 13th. We also just bred Sebagomist Ariel of Le Beau Minu to GhostRider and will know in a few weeks if she is pregnant. This breeding will produce silvers and smokes in black, red or tortie and all should be with white. Mazie and Rider can produce brown tabby, solid black and black smoke and all should be with white. It's going to be a busy and fun spring!!

Hi Everyone!! I hope you are all having a great day. It's been too long since I posted so I thought I better get on here and let everyone know what's up with us here at Le Beau Minu. We had a litter in October of '22 which have all found forever homes with great families. Then we had a litter on December 7th with 4 kittens, 1 black smoke female, 2 black smoke with white males and a red silver mac tabby with white male. All have forever homes, except for the red mac as he has a nose issue which we are working on with our vet. When we are sure he will be fine we will offer him for adoption--- he already has 2 different families interested in him. The December litter is out of Suncoon Celeste bred to Atlastcats GhostRider. Le Beau Minu Shelly has two babies born January 11th, a black and white female and a brown tabby with white male. Both of these kittens are scheduled to go to particular homes of breeder friends unless they change their minds. Now for the big announcement------ we recently bred out beautiful Le Beau Minu Magnificent Mazie to Atlastcats GhostRider. We should know in a couple of weeks if she is pregnant. This breeding can produce brown tabby in classic or mac, solid black and black smoke--- all of which should be with white as both parents are. It will be exciting to see how this goes so keep an eye on our page for updates. Last year was a rough one for us and we are hoping this year will be much better!

Introduction to Le Beau Minu Maine C***s

We are Carol and Tom Pedley and we have been showing and raising Maine C**n cats for 48 years now, having started our cattery in 1971. We show primarily in TICA (The International Cat Assoc.) and in CFF ( The Cat Fanciers Federation). We have bred many Supreme Grand Champions and Master Grand Champions over the years. We strive for good health, lovely type and excellent purr-sonalities in our kittens. Tom is the best spoiler of cats and kittens and I keep up the paperwork and chores involved with keeping a clean home and cattery. Tom helps me with bathing when needed and he also can be an awesome midwife when it comes to birthing kittens if I happen to be away at a show or working.

Our cattery is FELV and FIV negative and we have our cats hearts screened for HCM as well as we work with cats that are DNA negative for the one gene that science knows can cause heart issues. We know that the screening is not a 100% guarantee, but it gives us the knowledge to not use a cat that has a problem early on in our breeding program. Our kittens are home raised under foot, born in our bedroom and raised with love. They receive two 3-way vaccinations, are wormed (on general principle) and are vet checked before they leave our home.

We currently work with solid and tabby colors to include brown, red, black, silver, smoke and they can be with or without white. We also occasionally get dilutes (blue/cream).
