These two were found on 12/9 by a resident on N School/Knight Roads in Sterling.

Both are wearing harnesses and collars with tags from two different vet offices that are not located in the area, neither are microchipped.

After just a little over 2 weeks, we can finally put out a happy post about our Mally girl! Mally went missing on 11/30 from McDonald's in Standish.

Today around 1:30pm we received a call from a local resident that they spotted Mally going into their Barn. Our Officer and Kennel Staff arrived on scene and were able to secure Mally in the Barn, where she was hiding under some debri.

She is a little dirty and lost some weight, but overall appears to be doing fine. Mally slept the entire ride to the vet 💙🐾🐶

Mally is currently receiving medical care at Vetmed Veterinary Hospital in Bay City.

This handsome fella was found running loose around the Casino (Worth/Struman) today by our Tribal Officer.

He is wearing a collar, unfortunately is not microchipped.

As of 12/12, she was spotted by a Resident close to LaClair & Pine River Roads. Be cautious while in these areas and if spotted, please contact the Officer asap at 989-240-2985!

Mally has been missing since 11/30 from McDonald's in Standish, where she got free from her new owners!! As of 12/12, she was spotted by a Resident close to LaClair & Pine River Roads.

We currently have a professional trapper out assisting the Officer with bringing Mally to safety!

We advise DO NOT chase, call out, or search for her. We have feeding stations and trail cams set. We want her to stay in the area she is being spotted in and not spooked pushing her further away. We want her safe!

Teddy is a 5 month old Pomski that went missing Yesterday, 12/13 around 8PM. Last sighting was on Deep River/Sterling in Omer. His sibling was found & is safe, but Teddy is still running loose.

Officer Kelly had a blast helping out with Shop with a Cop last night at Walmart in West Branch! We made sure to snag some stuffed animals & couldn't forget about the pets at home! This little girl didn't just think about herself, but she thought about others in her home. And that's what Christmas is about 😎🎄

Thank you Arenac County Sheriff's Department for including us in this amazing event, we already cannot wait to come back next year!

Toby and his new dad cannot wait to go hiking together this summer!

We love when the sad stories turn into happy ones, from being dumped off in an unfamiliar area to hitting the jackpot at Animal Control!

We had an amazing visit with Creations by Generations and Miss Lolly, who was adopted from us in 2021! They were able to raise $1,100 for the shelter animals, Lolly dropped off her Gotcha Day gift and they sure delivered!!

Each dog will now have a brand new large water bucket for their kennel, each dog received a homemade dog treat, many licking mats/kongs/nala bones to help with enrichment, leashes, cleaning supplies, and so much more!

Thank you for not only donating, but spending time with our shelter pets. They sure enjoy it, even if you had treats 😁

Our amazing dogs are finally back at the shelter! Thank you to Standish Boarding Kennel for taking them in while we had our floors redone. They had a blast!!

We love when Alumni's come in and see us, especially when they bring the current animals in our care goodies!!

Gunner was adopted June 2nd of 2023, where he spent 4 months in the shelter. You can tell by his sweater, he is a happy spoiled good boy!

Thank you to Gunner and his mom Alice for their kind donation, and traveling nearly 2 hours to bring it!
