Body sour
Sundance is a new boarder and he came with his best friend Butch⦠however they are too attached to each other⦠so we are working on being ok not with our best friend next to us: Sundance is having a tantrum about not being able to see Butch⦠so he gets to stand tied after being lunged away from his friend. Once Sundance calms down and acts right he will get united and go to his stall. Buddy sour horses! Thankfully body sourness is easy to fix!

Windy
Monday vibes and horrible wind itβs not good! stay safe out there!
Warm weather
Warm weather before the next cold frontβ¦ so all the horses enjoyed themselves! I enjoyed myself too! βοΈ π΅π
Extra grain on a cold day, they have a round bale, so they have access to hay 24/7 so they stay warm during cold weather like this. Love spending time with them, my peace ππ₯°
Gus
Gus is reaching the end of his 90 days here. He has had a very successful 90 days of basic training. He has patience and better ground manners. He walk, trots and canters under saddle. He has a beautiful stop. He has also had a handful of little rides around the property and crop circles around our area. Iβve been working with his owner and lessons of riding and handling with his owners mom as well (Gusβ grandma). Iβm excited to see where they all are going to go with Gus!
Rhianna
Here Is Rihannaβs video from one of our sessions this week. My checklist that I want a horse to complete before I ride them: flex both directions softly without moving around. Flapping stirrups and jumping and pulling on the saddle while the horses stands quietly and excepting weight in the saddle calmly on both sides(half mounts) just to name a few. I demonstrate some on the video. Rhianna is pretty reactive with most things but she calmed down nicely towards the end of work sessions today.
Gus
Iβve been spending some time working horses outside the arena. They enjoy it. Here is Gus and I riding outside the arena. Good boy Gus!
Red
Itβs windy today! But we are working. Red is figuring out how to pony today. Heβs doing pretty good, a few moments but heβs getting there. Slowly but surely π΅ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅ππ΅
Nala
Nala is making gains I really didnβt think weβd accomplish. She is doing so much better. Now to keep building her confidence. π if you know Nala and her story. My little video is HUGE for her! π΅π
