Update: She’s out. It was bigger than they thought. Was under her incision as well. 24’ x 8’ & 3/4’ deep. All cleaned out. Left open with a medicated gauze inside. The tube was leaking between the skin and tissue that protects the inner abdomen. They want to go back in to check the wound and see what’s healing and if anything becomes necrotic over night. I’m gonna cancel again tomorrow and be here. They don’t have a time slot once again because she was added to the list

Hate to say it but she has to go in for another surgery tomorrow. Infection and skin necrosis by her g-tube that went uncared for. It's bad and this daughter is not happy. I advised that burn unit/wound care come check it out while she is still under and they did. I'm glad. They are keeping her intubated since it will just have to be done again tomorrow. I have ordered a giant get well card that will be delivered tomorrow so after that all are free to sign it once I'm back at the shop hopefully Wednesday. Need to reschedule the appointments that were for tomorrow. Hopefully there will be no more doing so lol. Thank you all for your loving support.
