Soundview has openings for both training and sales horses.
Our training and sales horses are treated individually with custom tailored approach to meet their own individual needs and learning styles. We focus primarily in the hunter/jumper, with a strong influence in dressage. Beyond that we have a fantastic barn community, and attend a mix of local shows as well as A rated throughout the year.
We pride ourselves in our ability to customize the right program to help you and your equine partner thrive. Whether you have show ring goals, or need assistance finding a new home for your unicorn, let Soundview help you out!

Multiple arenas and hacking space on property with seasonal XC field.

Maverick is a certified good boy and he’s ready to find his next human. He’s currently trying his hooves at the Hunter/jumper job and is happily coursing at 2’ with plenty of jump for more. He safe and honest to the jumps with great work ethic and green changes. He has a good engine but knows when to tune it down for his tiniest pilots or turn and burn with a game rider on his team.
In his past Maverick was a western pony and is what they consider “fancy broke” he loves to go for a hack out of the ring, and appears to have some gaming education as well. There is no wrong direction to take this fun and talented pony! He’s absolutely a barn favorite and comes out a rockstar everyday.

Westley is a drop dead gorgeous guy with a huge jump and personality to spare. He has success showing through the 1.30m in Europe, and is not lacking in scope to be of serious interest to an upper level home.
He was imported by a novice amateur in 2022 and has proven he is happiest being ridden and handled by a pro or skilled amateur. He thrives in a consistent work load.

🥈Lisanto 2 reserve champion open 1.20m

🥈Ashley Tompkins and Kalandar Girl reserve champion in both the long stirrup eq and hunter

🥈Arabella Brandt and Izzy reserve champion green pony and officially qualified for pony finals 🥳

Pony people take notice this girl has star quality! Queenie was imported for the dressage ring but has found her calling over fences. She is easily schooling 2’3 courses with changes and boy does this girl have scope and style! Her eye catching movement and “10” jumping technique make her one to watch for the future. Green eligible, with division talent she will go far with a junior in a program to further her development.

Frida is a striking beauty with a huge presence. She has three quality gaits easily earning her “8” on her tests. Her trot and canter are a dream to ride! She has many show miles under her belt at training level with scores in the 70s at schooling shows and high 60s at EC Gold level shows. She is a talented girl who is happily schooling all of 2nd level with ease and shows real talent and work ethic to continue up the levels. Frida will go far with a rider who is confident in their abilities both under saddle and on the ground. She is happiest with someone who can be a fair leader and understands how to further her development. She is sane, safe and very fun to ride. She has zero vices but has been know to use her size to her advantage when the mood strikes her.

Felix is as sweet as they come and all the right pieces to be your hunter superstar. He has a fantastic and rhythmic canter that is an absolute dream to ride, and makes finding the jumps a piece of cake! Felix has prior jumper experience in Europe, and currently he is easily schooling 3’ courses at home and has shown he is scopey enough for the 3’6 hunter/eq and derbies. He is eligible green and ready to hit the show ring this season. Felix is a kind but sensitive fellow and needs a rider to be his leader and give him the confidence to let his inner star shine.

This spitfire large pony has started schooling 1.0m at home and is ready to show in the 0.90m classes. She is a bold, forward-thinking horse with 1st level dressage scores into the 70’s and experience jumping BN/N cross country questions. Lupa is a sport pony by nature, but she has also gone foxhunting, sorted cattle, been ridden in parades, and logged hundreds of miles on the trails. She is barefoot, incredibly sound, simple to handle, and easy to keep weight on. This pony is wicked smart and has a superb work ethic… but requires a scrappy owner. Lupa has a buck and isn’t afraid to test new riders! Like most mares, once you earn her respect she’ll never let you down—but she’s liable to make you work for her loyalty the first few rides! She shows no signs of physical discomfort, and we have clean back and neck x-rays available for review. Can be successfully ridden by juniors, but NOT a “first horse” type. Price reflects her quirkiness—excellent deal for someone looking for talent on a budget! She requires consistent work in a full-time program. Low five figures.

Who doesn’t want to put this darling pony under their tree?! Super first pony type, Maverick is happy to pack a walk-trot kid, and shows the scope and step to develop into a 2’6+ pony. Needs to be placed before the end of the year.

Always a good day when @judgesallyc comes out! These two young talents worked hard have some great feedback and homework.
