Chess had himself a hell of a year in the hunt test game! He continues to impress this hunting season as well. With him going on a couple duck hunts, a pheasant hunt, and a few grouse hunts! This dude is the real deal!

Wow!!!! What a weekend! We had a blast at Retrievers Unlimited HRC’s hunt test! Beautiful grounds and great weather! The dogs did awesome! With every dog coming home with at least 1 ribbon! Then Stella achieved her seasoned level title! Throw HR in front of her name!!! Thank you judges, workers, and the great people we met down south! We will be back.

South bound and down! We are on our way to New Athens, Illinois to run 1 more HRC hunt test this year! It’s going to be a great weekend with THR running a total of 6 dogs! Hopefully we come home with 12 ribbons 🤞🤞🤞

Rainy is starting to progress in our bird and gun introduction. We have started shooting .22 blanks over her. Good girl Rainy!!!!

We would also like to introduce Cardi! This is a special one for us at THR. Cardi is her to start her journey as a therapy dog for a little 9 year old girl with special needs. We are working with to present this little girl with Cardi!

After Stella was out for sometime, with her heat cycle. She came out swinging this weekend! I’m so proud of her! 1 more pass and she’ll have her HR title. Chess ran the seasoned level test this weekend and even though he didn’t come home with a ribbon. He did an amazing job and failed out on the very last thing each day. For being a couple weeks past 1 year of age, he’s out there keeping up with the big dogs!

Say hello to Zeus!!! He’s here for our 2 week obedience program! For being only a year old, he’s the size of a horse. Our obedience program is open to all breeds!

We were short staffed today due to females being in heat, but Chess and Tiki got their jobs done! They continue to impress! Chess will be making the jump to senior and seasoned level tests after today!

The dogs had themselves a weekend! We went and ran at prairie lakes hrc’s hunt test. Chess and Tiki both grabbed their SHR tittles and whiskey came home with 2 passes. It was a great time!
