SWEET DOGS NEED A NEW HOME! We have had two wonderful dogs Jade and Wally stay at Paws N Claws Oasis for the last 4 months. They originally came to stay because their owner had a medical emergency and they eventually stayed in our Paws with a Purpose Program. Their owner has since realized that he can no longer care for them and is looking for a loving home for them. Hi everybody - Myra here.

Just wanted to pop on and say thanks for the shares and page likes! Keep it going! Word of mouth is one of the best forms of marketing so we appreciate it very much.

Also, I would like to announce that 'A Pawsitive Start Dog Training - a games based concept training' will be hosting its first classes beginning September 1, 2020 at 240 Park Road (our kennel!). Classes are yet to be determined, except for a puppy socialization class - I know that one will be happening.

Stay tune for more exciting news and updates in the coming weeks. Rumor has it there may be an open house in a few weeks.

Hello! I thought I'd pop on here quick and share just how excited I am to be working Paws 'n Claws Oasis! While I am super excited to begin classes this fall - I really should enjoy the summer while we have it! ;)

That being said - please feel free to reach out with any training issues, concerns, or questions you may have. Get my juices flowing!

I do have a question though - please leave a comment below regarding whether or not you have kennel trained your dog.

The Fourth of July can be a very traumatic day for your four legged friends. Please take extra precautions in making sure they are safe and not harmed in any festivities.

While many areas may not be holding their annual firework displays, your neighbors may still be celebrating. Some ideas to keep them safe are keeping them inside for the day; use a leash to take them outside (even if you have a fenced in yard - dogs are pretty good at escaping if they are fearful); or allow them time alone in a quiet room inside their kennel.

Understanding that they may be fearful is the best way you can help your pup through what could be a very stressful day. (Think of it this way - if you didn't like clowns, would you want a loved one to drag you around to see all the clowns? 😆)

Who loves your pet more than you? We do!

We have some exciting news!! Now you may have heard that we are in the middle of doing some remodeling and making some cosmetic changes, but today we added a new team member!

Dog trainer Myra Horner has joined our team and will be holding lessons at the Kennel starting this Fall. Myra began training dogs at the age of 20 when she rescued her first pup, Strider. She and Strider attended obedience training and competed in AKC Fun Runs where Strider always placed in the top three. Her love for training dogs has only increased since and in fact is now in training to be a K9 Search and Rescue Handler with her current rescue Harley. Myra stated her mission is to strengthen the bond between dog and owner, and ensuring dogs are respectful house members through games, playing, and just having fun. Myra is very excited to be working along with us at Paws 'n Claws Oasis and will be creating packages and providing additional information very soon!
