It was hot hot hot at Ustick in Bloom, but what a great event. Great live music by Casio Dream. I was so excited to do my first event with my newly installed AC unit in the trailer. Ive been unable to do summer events, as tge trailer easily reaches 120+ degrees inside. It was pure bliss for the first 2 hours. Then it blew my power box. No reset worked.

Sadly, because of this, I'm having to cancel my participation at The Boise Swap tomorrow.

Hopefully the trailer maker can fix it before my 2 events next weekend.

I'm out and about this weekend. On Saturday June 8th, I'll be at the Ustick in Bloom event at Redwood Park... between Cloverdale and 5 Mile. It starts late afternoon at 5pm.

On Sunday morning, the 9th, I'll be out at the Boise Flea being held in the BSU stadium parking lot at University and Broadway, with dozens of other vendors. Event officially starts at 10am until 4pm.

Two more events on Father's Day weekend. I'll post details after I get through this week.

The voluntary recall was issued on Friday by Mars Petcare US to four states at select Walmart locations.

Well, shoot. Ready to hitch up the trailer tonight for a trip up to Sumpter Oregon for their annual flea market this holiday weekend, and besides being exhausted already due to baking treats everyday into the weee hours, I find this!🤬

Guess my departure time tomorrow morning will be a little delayed. Well, I guess it's better than it going flat on the mountain twists heading up there.

UPDATE... I've had to cancel my events in September due to the loss of my mother. There are many things to manage on her behalf, and I will not be able to bake treats at this time.

Cash is important. 💸

Why should we pay cash everywhere we can
with banknotes instead of a credit card? 💳

- I have a $50 bill in my pocket.
Going to a restaurant and paying for dinner with it. The restaurant owner then uses the bill to pay for the laundry. The laundry owner then uses the bill to pay the barber. The barber will then use the bill for shopping.

After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain a $50, which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment and the bank has jumped dry from every cash payment transaction made...

- But if I come to a restaurant and pay digitally - Card, and bank fees for my payment transaction charged to the seller are 3%, so around $1.50 and so will the fee $1.50 for each further payment transaction or owner re laundry or payments of the owner of the laundry shop, or payments of the barber etc.....

Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial $50 will remain only $5 😫 and the remaining $45 became the property of the bank 🏦 thanks to all digital transactions and fees.

Small businesses need your help and this is one way to help ourselves too. Pull small draws of cash out at a time and use that instead of tap, credit, etc.

When this is put into perspective, imagine what each retailer is paying on a monthly basis in fees at 3% per transaction through their POS machine.

If they have, for example, $50,000 in sales & 90% are by Card, they are paying $1500 in fees in ONE Month. $18,000 in a year! That comes out of their income every month.

That would go a long way to helping that small business provide for its family!🏦♥️"

What a great event in Boise. If you're a vintage goods hunter, definitely check out The Boise Flea on State and 31st. They run all summer on the 2nd Sunday if every month.

NEXT WEEKEND, head on up to Emmett to the fairgrounds for their Spring Craft event. Saturday and Sunday 4/22 - 4/23. I'll be there with the bright yellow treat beast.

Come on out to Firebird Raceway for their spring swap meet, and bring your pups. I'll be there with my K9 Treat Trailer. I'm making a new recipe of mini donuts. I'm going to call them Salmon Roll. They are made with Oat flour, applesauce, and pure Alaskan Salmon Oil. My girls give it 2 paws 🐾 up!
