Dolly Parton was born in a one-bedroom cabin in rural Tennessee. Her dad was a sharecropper who couldn’t read. As the family grew, the older children were given more responsibilities, and Parton, as the fourth of 12 children, had to look after her younger siblings. The kids didn't even have their own beds, and they slept three to four in a bed.
Despite her poverty-stricken childhood, the songstress described her family as happy and rich in other ways. In fact, fans love Parton not only for her singing and unique glam-country queen image but also for her generous soul. She spends much of her income on philanthropy. They've been a part of my life since I was a child.
I started showing dogs at 20. I'm 66. I don't know what I'd do without them. They're my sanity and my stress relief.
I'd be Rick if I didn't have them, but....

Time to think about getting your griff or pudlepointer or GWP stripped for summer. Stripping pulls dead hair out and stimulates new courser hair growth. It will be a better coat for hunting

I specialize in hand stripping griffs, GWP, Pudlepointer. I have 4 hunting griffs.
The griff groomer is doing most all sporting, herding and working dogs
This is my retirement job from nursing, but dogs have been in my life showing and grooming and training 45 yr

I retired from 42 yr as an RN.
I've shown and groomed dogs 45 yr. I love working with dogs and am a good groomer.
I've enjoyed grooming as my part time retirement. I mostly do sporting dogs, but can do huskies, goldens, border collies, aussies, and most medium to large dogs.
I don't do doodles or poodles, or small dogs.
I work from home so dogs can run on our acre yard and watch the birds and chickens or in my insulated garage.

Sarah Lambert let me groom Jasper.
A Cedarwood pudlepointer, Bob Farris.
He's only a yr old, did some stripping, but will need more every 3 to 4 months till we get it shorter and course.

I'm back in Idaho from being back east 2 months.
I get asked what I charge.
I'm retired RN.
I groom outside when weather permits, or in my insulated garage.
I charge $45 for 1 hour, comb out, trim ears, clean out, trim butt, feet, nails.
$75 for 2 hr, all above, adding time to light hand stripping.
$95 for 3 hr.
$10 bath with organic shampoos, ear treatment for bacteria and fungus, ck a**l glands.
If it is too cold, lower than 50,I cannot do baths outside in my hot water bath.
I only do sporting dogs, I can cut nails other dogs, no toys or terriers

Came back to North Carolina for 2 months to see my daughter, visit friends, then go to the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon national specialty. Grooming dogs , I have folks drive 2 to 4 hr for me to groom. So blessed.

Laurie Helgeson let me groom Camo again. She is out of Rosies sister. Lots of soft coat,3 half hours of timing and stripping.

Lane baker drove 3 hr for me to groom her Ruby. A rescue sweet but nervous.
3 hr hand stripped and trimmed. She got to watch birds at the feeder next to the table

Clipping does not help a coat. You have to hand strip the hair out from follicles. That stimulates new healthy courser hair growth,especially old puppy coat

Getting some nice hand stripping done and working on griffs, puddlepointer, Brittany's. GWP, and doing nails on sporting breeds.
I do medicated baths. Use a antibacterial antifungal ear wash. And can do dental scrapping if dog will allow. Surprising alot are ok with it

Summer is the best time to strip old dead coat out so course healthy coat comes in.
I do mostly griffs,GWP, puddlepointer, almost any sporting breed.
Not many know how to hand strip.
Come see me in star and let the dogs run and play is a less stressful environment.
I scrap teeth if they let me and do herbal,medicated baths, ear treatment for fungus or bacteria.

Time to get those old dead coats stripped out, nice for summer, better coat for hunting season will come in. I also groom most all sporting breeds. Medicated baths with antibacterial and antifungal ear treatments.

Well, im done with my 11 puppies so time to get back to grooming.
This 4 yr old had never been stripped. He had so much hair it matted easily.
Combed him out with my UNTANGLER COMB and 3 hr later, he was stripped . The new coat will be healthier and courser.
