Hi guys!
Over the last week, through no fault of their own, two puppies with deposits and two who were “pending” became available.
Each of these families had to back out for personal/professional reasons. One person on the pending list was denied because of a faulty vet reference.
We slowed down on advertising. We get a lot of tire-kickers. DONT BE A TIRE-KICKER.
Guys. We only want our babies to go to good, solid loving homes. Please do not apply unless you have talked to your spouse, are financially ready, and have proper living arrangements.
If you haven’t talked to your husband- do not apply.
If you need time to think about it- do not apply.
If you don’t know where you’ll be living/working in the next few months- do not apply.
I’d you are under 21- do not apply.
If you live in a dorm- do not apply. 🤦🏼♀️
And if your vet will NOT recommend you- do not apply. 🤦🏼♀️ 🤦🏼♀️ 🤦🏼♀️
I would rather let these babies go for a lower price and breakeven (even lose money) than send pups to homes that aren’t ready for them.
Yes. Our dogs are expensive. But we have invested almost $6000 in this litter before they were even born. That doesn’t count food, individual crates, beds, cleaning supplies, or our time/experience. For 8 weeks, 9 living puppies take over my house, my living room, my entire life. We all know how hard it is to have a puppy in the house- now multiply that by 9! 🤪 We love what we do- but it’s a job, like anything else. I’ve had a couple people mention that “momma dog does all the work” and I realize we need to be more transparent about what we do here.
We health test all of our dogs.
Our puppies include health guarantees.
Our dogs are born & raised in our homes.
We give them their first groom. Their first baths. Their first time in a pool.
Our puppies go home sleeping through the night in their own crates, eating out of their own bowls, walking on leashes, coming when called, and recognizing commands & rewards.
We do that. Every bit of it.
At Stark Farms, you’re not just paying for a healthy puppy; you’re paying for a foundation in training that CANNOT be replicated once they are older.
Many people sell “mini doodles” but really they are just selling small dogs and they don’t know what size they’ll be. These babies were conceived via Artificial Insemination at MSU vet school. This litter has been planned and researched for over 2 years. They come with vet checks and health guarantees. In fact, everyone goes to the vet tomorrow for vaccines! No Tractor Supply shots here. No backyard breeder habits. Just two people who are obsessed with their bloodline and are doing everything they can to make it better.
One day, I hope there is a breed standard for Doodles- mini and large. I hope that people have to be certified to breed their dog (seriously). There are too many poorly bred, poorly raised puppies in this world. We don’t want to contribute to that. I do this because I love the breed. I love Keira’s bloodline. I love the jobs this particular set of dogs is bred to perform- three of her puppies are in duck blinds every fall. I love seeing pictures of happily families with MY baby’s puppies and grand-puppies.
It’s not a hobby for us. It’s a passion.
It’s not a money-grab. In fact, this litter, with puppies being sold $1800-$2000 each, we’ll be breaking even. It’s hard yall. But it’s work worth doing.
So with all that said, if you’re interested in adding a bred, born, and foundation-trained F1bb Miniature Golden Doodle to YOUR family, contact us.
We have four puppies available for a slightly reduced price.
I’m attaching reference photos of how they look at 8 weeks & how they will look fully grown.
