We have a trio of Rex left. These three have been the hardest to let go of for me. Mae and Frozone started our rabbitry and have produced some lovely tri Rex for us. Pictures of what they’ve produced can be found in the comments.

I will be traveling from Starkville, MS to Chattanooga, TN 11/23-11/28 so any of these three can catch a ride with me. PM for more info.

Hello all,

After much discussion, Reid and I have decided to start the process of selling out. We are in a rigorous graduate program that is only getting busier leaving us with not as much time as we once had. After much thought, we think it is best to take a break from rabbits to allow us to focus more on our studies. We want to thank everyone who has been involved in our journey. I have loved getting to know and interact with so many wonderful people.

Over the coming weeks, I will be posting what we have available. I would love to see the buns that started our program help another program working on tri.

I will be traveling between Starkville, MS and Chattanooga, TN in the coming weeks and can meet on that route or close to Chattanooga or Starkville.

We’re aware of the current case and investigation of RHDV2 in MS. We will continue to follow guidelines set by the USDA for the safety of our herd, other herds, and the wild population. Currently, we don’t know the details or location of the investigation. We’ll share more as we hear more about this investigation. For now, we will not be selling, buying or traveling to any events with our rabbits until we know it is safe to do so. As always, if you have any questions or concerns please reach out.

Welcome!

AT rabbity is a small rabbity located in the heart of Starkville, MS. We raise Rex rabbits for show and meat purposes. We love Rex for their dual-purpose functionality and of course, their personalities. We strive to better the breed by breeding for the SOP.

Sales Policy as of 4/5/21

1. All rabbits that leave our care are healthy to the best of our knowledge.

2. Once a rabbit leaves our possession, we no longer control the environment. Therefore, we are not responsible for any illness or injury after a rabbit leaves our care (this includes transports).

3. I cannot guarantee the gender of any rabbit. At the time of pickup, the buyer should check the gender of the rabbit.

4. Upon pickup, the buyer should inspect the rabbit to ensure it is of the expected quality.

5. We require a non-refundable $20 deposit to hold any rabbit which will be applied to the total price of the rabbit. The buyer’s deposit will only be refunded if the seller cancels the sale prior to pickup.

6. AT Rabbity reserves the right to cancel a sale for any reason.

7. If the buyer does not show up to an agreed-upon meeting, the deposit will be forfeited and the rabbit will be made available again.

8. All pedigrees will be sent electronically to buyer within 48 hours of receiving full payment. A paper copy can be given at the time of pickup but please request this in advance of pickup.

9. All pedigreed rabbits will leave with a tattoo in their left ear.

10. Pet-quality rabbits will not be sold with a pedigree.

11. We work with transports who are avoiding RHDV2 hotspots and come within a 1.5-hour radius of Starkville, MS.

We will hold ourselves accountable for this policy and expect our buyers to read, understand, and follow this policy as well.
