Home Girl’s had a break since last September, she has been working hard for a month and a half. She performed well at last weekend's NSSHA Mid Season show in two competitive classes, taking a third and fifth place. I'm proud of the progress we've made together and we're ready to keep improving. This is a sure enough racking c**t x Homebred standardbred that was clocked in the 30’s and out of my Walking horse mare Pushers Ebony Grace ( John FK’s Pusher x Gens Armed and Dangerous). Nothing about this c**t will be “Lil” out of 16 hand plus parents, with showing potential in moving in a big and fast way! He’ll be ready to start this winter!

Things have been a little hectic lately so bare with us while we catch up on social media.

We are extremely excited about 2024 and the things that are about to happen! We started off the new year freeze branding several of our horses here at WAS, both broodmares and awesome trail horses.

To tell the story of our brand, we first have to give all credit to for taking this Chicago boys dream and creating a brand “The Walkin W” that embodies who we are.

Now when you purchase a horse or see one out on on the trails carrying our brand—you know you’re looking at quality, a horse the we stand behind, a horse you know came from somewhere they can call home.

So be on the lookout for those horses, and if you spot one be sure to share with us by using . We are so excited to share our journey with you as the year progresses!

We wrapped this weekend with all three horses placing well in their classes! PCR’S Good Guy Rides Again takes first in his class all in all we had a great time at the 34th annual National Spotted Saddle Horse Mid-Season show in Manchester,TN next stop the Trainers show!

Meet Juluca, 15 hand gelding
Located in Starkville, Ms
He’s keg shod and prefers the trail over a show rail but still smooth as can be! He will go anywhere asked—if he hesitates just keep giving a little pressure and talk to him. He will go and will take his time but he knows where his feet are! Last time I rode something that was this aware of their feet was a mule!
He's got a little age but he is just now in his prime at 15 years young. Owned his entire life by the people who bred for him, Juluca’s sire is Stuntman’s Choice who is still living at the young age of 33!
If you’re looking for horse that's safe as can be but will also challenge a confident beginner through intermediate he’s your guy! He would even be good for more seasoned rider who wants an easy Eddie steady—one that doesn't react like a young horse, something you can feel confident in taking out on the trail for as long as you can here's your guy!

Happy Juneteenth y'all!!!
We hope y'all are having a great time celebrating Juneteenth with your families and loved ones. For those that don't know, this day is the day that the slaves down in Texas finally got word that they were free!!
HOWEVER—we know that it was a long way from being truly considered free, but now look at us thriving and succeeding in every lane there is! Even with some roadblocks, we still push through! This is what makes me proud to be both black and American (even with her scars and blemishes)!!

As we all gather with our families and friends, let's us not forget the reason we are gathered! “For God so LOVED the world that he gave his only Begotten son that who so ever believes in him shall have eternal life!!” Oh what a feeling to be loved by God, that he sends his son to do away with the sting of death so that we may have eternal life with him, no pain, no suffering, no hate, no evils of this world, but everlasting peace and love, how wonderful that is! It’s with a sad heart for our friend The owner of this beautiful stallion as she lost her boy today, we are saddened by this news for her as this stud produced my Jazzy K*t Above. Rest easy Alens K*t Above enjoy that big pasture in the sky!!
